안녕하세요. 얼마전에 렌트카 질문 올렸었는데 또 질문 올립니다.
오늘 아침 저희 부모님께서 LAX에 있는 FOX Rent-a-car에서 차를 찾으시러 가서 직원이랑 얘기를 하는데
보험 중에서 Liabilities를 들어야 한다고 했다고 하네요..
원래 예약한 사이트는 rentalcars.com 이었고 저는 이 사이트에서 Collison Damage Coverage를 구매했습니다.
Collision Damage Coverage, available from Berkely through rentalcars.com, is an affordable alternative to the waivers or insurance offered by many car rental companies. This valuable coverage is just USD 11 per day (USD 9 per day for customers with a New York State billing address).
Terms, conditions and exclusions of coverage
Coverage is primary and provides benefits including collision, theft, vandalism and much more. The plan provides USD 35,000 in physical damage coverage per vehicle per day, including the cost of repairs for collision or comprehensive damage to a rental car (up to the limit of coverage) for which the car rental contract holds you responsible. Any obligations you assume under any agreement, or acting in violation of your car rental agreement, are not covered under the plan. The car must be rented from a licensed car rental company. You are free to cancel your Collision Damage Coverage (and receive a full refund) up until the pick-up time you requested in your rental car booking.
직원 말로는 부모님이 미국내 보험이 없어서 Liabilities를 꼭 들어야 한다고 하던데... 이것때문에 총 가격이 244.49(167.49+위 보험77.00)에서 400불대로 올라갔습니다.
방금 Rentalcars.com 에 전화해서 위 보험(collision damage coverage)이 Liabilities를 포함하냐고 물어 봤는데 된다고는 하는데 (솔직히 잘 모르는 것 같습니다.)
