제가 아이 악기 하나 사줬는데 스트링 하나가 망가져서 갈수가 없다고 하네요.
그래서, 아멕스 프로텍션에 클레임 했는데 이미 닫은 카드는 않된다네요.
이게 아멕스 골드였는데 올해 2월에 1년 되기 직전에 닫았고 클레임은 4월경에 했는데 카드를 현재 사용하고 있어야 한다고 하네요.
매달 사용량이 있었냐가 중요한게 아니라 적어도 멤버쉽 내면서 유지하고 있었냐가 중요한것 같아요.
아무튼 예전에 카드 닫고도 클레임 된다는 글을 본것 같아서 용기를 내서 신청해 보았는데 않된다고 하네요. 참고하세요.

Under the Termination or Cancellation section of Purchase Protection, it states: ... "Coverage will cease on
the earliest of the following: ...5. the date Your Account ceases to be Current and in Good Standing." Under
the DEFINITIONS section of Purchase Protection, it states: ... "Current and in Good Standing means a
Cardmember Account for which the monthly minimum requirement has been paid prior to the date in which
the claim is payable."...
Our records show your account was cancelled on 02/19/2014, therefore, benefits are not payable through Purchase
Protection, as coverage ceased the date your account is no longer in current and good standing. Once the account
becomes current and active, please contact our office and AMEX Assurance Company will re-open the claim for
review/eligibility of payment.
