중복 글인지는 모르겠습니다만, 제가 검색한 바로는 없었던 것 같아서 깨알 정보 남깁니다.
연초에 Chase Sapphire Preferred 카드를 사용중인 제 와이프 이름으로 저한테 Refer to a friend를 이용해서
체이스 사프 카드를 신규 발급 받은 후에 와이프 account에 $5K가 쌓이는 것은 확인했습니다.
그런데 제 어머니를 AU(Authorized User)로 등록해서 카드 사용을 하게 했는데도 추가 $5K가 들어오지 않는 것입니다.
그래서 Secured Msg center를 통해서 아래와 같이 쪽지를 날렸더니 $5K를 넣어주겠다는 답이 왔고 실제로 같은날 $5K가 들어왔습니다.
제것만 실수로 AU 사용에 대한 보너스가 누락된 줄 알았는데,
얼마 전에 저희 회사 동료 분도 동일하게 referral로 가입했는데 AU에 대한 $5K가 들어오지 않았다고 하더라구요.
그래서 제가 아래의 내용으로 SM으로 쪽지 날려보라고 알려줬더니,
referral로 가입한 경우에는 추천인에게 $5K를 지급하는대신 authorized user를 추가해도 $5K를 주지는 않는 것이 원칙이나,
특별히 $5K를 줄테니 잘 쓰라는 메시지가 왔다고 합니다.
결론인즉슨,
referral로 체이스 사프를 가입하신 경우 AU를 등록하고 첫 사용을 해도 $5K가 자동으로 들어오지는 않을 수도 있으니,
확인해보시고 만약 AU에 대한 $5K bonus를 못 받으셨을 경우 아래와 같이 SM을 통해 메세지를 보내서 달라고 하셔야 할 듯 하네요.
체이스가 대인배라서 이런 요청에 상당히 관대한 듯 하네요.
