제가 사는 미시건에는 MESP 라는 529 플랜이 있는데 연간 약 10000불 정도 까지 주 세금의 deduction 을 준다고 엄청 선전을 하거든요..
저도 몇년전부터 이 베네핏(?) 때문에 약 몇천불씩 연간 아이들 대학 학자금으로 저축하고 있었는데요.. 오늘 혹시나 싶어서 처음으로
퍼포먼스를 체크 해 봤더니 S&P 500 과 비교해도 엄청 형편이 없는것 같아서요.
제가 받은 느낌은 뭐 푼돈약간 주세금 디덕션주고 많은 부분에서 손해를 보는게 아닌가 싶어서요. 혹시 여러분은 어느 529플랜에 가입해 있으신가요?
저도 이제라고 바꾸어 볼까합니다. ^^ 참고로 저희 애들 나이는 7학년 5학년 입니다.
다음은 MESP 퍼포먼스 자료를 긁어 왔습니다. (물론 2월 말 기준이라 지금 S&P와 단순비교는 어렵지만 수익률의 단위가 다른것 같아요..) 혹시 제가 뭘 잘못
