유나이티드가 2018년 8월에 30불로 인상 시켰던 Checkd bag Fee를 다시 35불로 인상 시켰습니다;;
아직까지 다른 항공사 소식은 없는데.... 이 슬프 예감이 틀리길 바랍니다....
United Airlines is increasing checked bag fees for flights within North America, and flights to the Caribbean and Central America:
- The first checked bag will go from costing $30 to costing $35
- The second checked bag will go from costing $40 to costing $45 ($50 on flights to & from Canada)
Do note that:
- This applies for travel as of March 6, 2020
- These increases don’t apply to tickets purchased prior to February 21, 2020
- If you pre-pay for your bags online before check-in, then this price increase won’t apply to you
- MileagePlus Premier customers, and those with an eligible United MileagePlus credit card, continue to receive complimentary checked bags

얼마전 (항공 8/21) JetBlue 항공: 수하물 & 티켓 Change Fee 인상, 8/31부터 소식에 이어
오늘 8/31부터 유나이티드 항공이 수하물 가격, ( checked bag fees / baggage fees )를 인상 시켰습니다.
(지긋지긋한 2018년 8월, 마지막 날까지 개악 소식이네요 ㅠ)
MileagePlus Premier 카드 소지자는 무료 수하물 베네핏이 유지된다고 합니다.
United turns out to be the large US airline to go first. For North America, Caribbean and Central America itineraries purchased from today onward:
- $30 first checked bag

- $40 second checked bag within the U.S., Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Caribbean and Central America

- $50 second checked bag on Canada itineraries

- $55 second checked bag on Mexico itineraries (no change)
