Global Entry Interview Cancellation

다음주 목요일 드디어 Global Entry 인터뷰가 있어서 기대하던 중.. 방금 이런 이메일이 왔습니다. DC 에 있는 Ronald Reagan 빌딩에서 인터뷰를 잡았었는데 캔슬을 당했네요 ㅠㅠ 체크해보니 VA & DC region 인터뷰 가능한곳이 하나도 없더라구요. 아마 그 지역 CBP staff 를 "southern border" 으로 relocate 한 것 같아요. 에효! 저처럼 cancel 당하신 분 계시면 "you are not alone"...

The ongoing humanitarian and security crisis on our southern border has required extraordinary action by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), including the deployment of additional U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) personnel to the southern border. 

 

In response to this effort, CBP is temporarily reducing staff at Global Entry Enrollment Centers and reassigning them to support frontline traveler processing during the summer months.  Regrettably, this situation has forced the cancellation of your scheduled appointment.

 

To complete your Global Entry enrollment, consider:

 

• Enrollment on Arrival: When arriving to the United States on an international flight, conditionally approved Global Entry applicants can complete their interview without an advance appointment at any of the 50 airports with a Global Entry Enrollment on Arrival program. Additional information about Enrollment on Arrival, including a list of participating airports, can be found at: https://www.cbp.gov/travel/trusted-traveler-programs/global-entry/enrollment-arrival/locations

OR

• Re-scheduling your appointment using the following steps:
  • Sign into your TTP account at https://ttp.cbp.dhs.gov/
  • Click on the “LOG IN” button in the top right corner of the screen
  • Enter your login.gov credentials that you used to create your Global Entry account
  • Re-schedule your appointment with the expectation that availability for appointments is limited
