얼마 전 체킹 어카운트를 하나 오픈했고 괜찮은 상품인 것 같아서 소개 드려요.
일단 TX, MS, LA지역 only구요 브랜치(https://www.origin.bank/locations/)에 가셔야지 오픈할 수 있는 것 같습니다.
상품명은 performance checking이구요 아래는 해당 은행의 상품설명 광고 글입니다.

requirement를 모두 만족하신 경우 (만족하지 못하신 경우는 0%이구요)
up to $40,000까지 4% APY를 제공하고 그 이상 금액에 대해서는 0.4%를 제공한다고 합니다.
requirement는 다음과 같습니다.
1. 16 posted (point of sale or signature based) debit card transactions per qualification cycle
2. 1 ACH debit or credit per qualification cycle
3. Receive monthly eStatements
4. These monthly requirements must be completed 3 days prior to the end of your statement cycle.
1번에 있는 16번의 POS나 signature based transaction은 좀 까다로워 보이지만 지금까지는 amazon gift card reload도($0.5이 최소 충전 단위인데 16번 하면 $8이네요) 카운트되는 것으로 나오네요
2번은 월급을 direct deposit하셔도 되고 chase나 wells fargo에서 external transfer하시면 fee없이 ACH credit 하실 수 있구요 (credit union포함 은행등은 보통 exteranl transfer하심 fee없이 ACH로 돈을 보내는데 간혹 BOA처럼 fee($3)을 내야하는 경우도 있어요)
3번은 한번만 설정하시면 되구요
4번은 계좌만드시면 온라인에서 아래와 같이 트래킹이 가능하십니다. 언제까지 마쳐야 하는지 현재까지 상황이 어떻게 되는지 알려주네요

계좌 관련해서 아셔야 하는게 다음과 같이 있습니다.
4% 이자는 2020년 6월까지는 유효하고 그 이후에는 변경이 될 수도 있다고 하고(8월부터 카운트하면 11개월이네요. 4%는 CD나 saving에서도 볼수 없는 이상하게 높은 금리라서 내년 7월부터 당연히 내려갈 걸로 예상하는데 얼마나 내려갈진 그때 가봐야 알 것 같습니다.) 데일리 밸런스가 $4000이하가 되면 $14불의 monthly charge가 있으니 주의하셔요.
Rate may change on or after June 30, 2020.
A service charge of $14 will be imposed every statement cycle that the average daily balance falls below $4,000.
Limited to one account per individual.
Closing this account within 90 days of opening results in $25 fee.
