Credit for Amex error란 항목으로 -$280.09 돌려받았습니다.

댓글주신 cashback님 덕분에 알았네요.

원 금액보다 더 들어온 것은 cashback님 말씀대로 이자 같습니다.

(전 근데 중간에 $26.42 받았었는데, 그거 안 빼고 준 거 같은 느낌이...)

Dispute 완료되었다고 메일을 받았고,

확인해 보니,

차액인 $26.42가 Adjust 된 것을 계정에서 확인했습니다.

 

전체 $276.42가 아닌 Resort Credit $250를 제외한 부분이 들어온 것으로 보아

Resort credit은 다시 recovered 됐다고 판단하여,

해당 내용을 chat으로 물었고,

이후 resort에서 소비하면

다시 resort credit을 받을 수 있을 것이라고 컨펌 받았습니다.

 

리조트를 가야겠네요 ㅠ

Statement 발급되었고,

그대로 금액 변경없이 $276.42로 찍혀 있어서,

다시 chat 상담하였고, 상담원이 dispute 해준다고 해서 일단 알겠다고 했습니다.

나중에 어찌 처리될 지는 모르겠네요...

부엉 - Hi, I wonder if you can check the previous chat logs. I inquired about my recent transaction in Hilton Aspire Card, and the consultant told me that it can be handled after the statement is issued.

부엉 - The statement has been issued, and it is still $276.42, not modified to $250.

And I also wonder if the resort credit is restored back.

I appreciate your time and patience. 

In taking a look in the account I see that its a debit that is been charge by Hilton on the account.

부엉 - OK..

Amex - Though the name suggests a credit but its a debit in the account by Hilton

부엉 - The property name is Waldorf Astoria Boca Raton Resort, and I booked the place before, but canceled it.

Why is the $276.42 additionally charged then?

Amex - Yes, let me dispute the charge accordingly then to get it rectified.

이후엔 dispute 처리 과정이 있었습니다.

 


 

숙박 없이 캔슬로 타먹었던 Aspire Resort Credit이 청구됐습니다.

를 통해 타먹었던 Credit이었고,

8월부터 해당 방법이 막힌다는 소식은 들었었지만,

이미 타먹은 거 롤백할 줄은 몰랐네요 ㅠ

 

기존 타먹었던 transaction history는

Jun 8 - 호텔 디파짓 $366.18

Jun 21 - Hilton Resort Credit -$250

Jun 24 - 호텔 캔슬 -$366.18

이었는데요.

 

어제 (Jul 31) 날짜로 청구되었습니다.

핸드폰 앱으로 보면 Hilton Resort Credit 이라는 항목으로

PC 상에서 보면 호텔이름으로 $276.42가 청구되었습니다.

처음에는 앱으로 봤기 때문에 저게 왜 청구됐나 싶어서 고민하다가,

PC로 보니 예약-취소했던 호텔 이름이 뜨는 걸 보고 크레딧 롤백되어 청구된 것을 깨달았습니다.

 

확인을 위해 Amex와 chat도 하였습니다. (원문 아래 참조)

요약하면 크레딧 롤백된 거 맞고, 금액 이상한 건 다음 스테이트먼트 이후에도 그대로인 걸 확인하고 다시 chat해야 adjust 해줄 것 같았습니다.

 

부엉 - Hi, I found that $276.42 has been charged to my Hilton aspire card from '호텔이름' yesterday. But I haven't made this purchase.

아멕스 - I see your chat reason, let me quickly check your account 

부엉 - Yes, thank you

아멕스 - Thank you for your patience. This transaction is showing as a debit adjustment for Hilton Resort Credit. Just to check, have you cancelled your Hilton purchase for which you have previously received Hilton credit of $250?

부엉 - Yes I have. So, if the amount was $250, then I would understand it. But it's $276.42, why the amount is different?

아멕스 - So, this looks to be an adjustment for the previous cancellation, however since the amount should be $250.00 and not $276.42, it should get adjusted. Right now the charge is unbilled, I would request you to let your statement get generated for the adjustments to apply. 

부엉 - Which means, I need to wait for the next statement, and then it will be adjusted?

아멕스 - That's correct, right now the charges is unbilled (Not billed and you are not liable for any payment) 

부엉 - OK I will wait for it, and if there's no adjustment after the statement, I will chat again

아멕스 - It should get adjusted to show exact debit amount, however in case you do not see the adjustment in next bill,  you can chat back with us any time 

부엉 - Would you confirm that the $250 resort benefit recovered to my account, so that I can use it later?

아멕스 - Right now the adjustments are not processed completely, so the credit has not recovered 

부엉 - So the benefit will be recovered after the adjustment, right?

아멕스 - Ideally it should 

As per the benefit, uring each year of Card Membership, Card Members are eligible to receive statement credits of up to $250 in total on their Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card Account for any eligible purchases with their Card made directly at a participating Resorts in the Hilton portfolio. A statement credit will automatically be applied to the account approximately 8-12 weeks after the Hilton Resort charges are posted. Card Members should reference hilton.com/resorts for the list of participating Hilton Resorts.

부엉 - OK. Thanks, I will get back after the next statement. :)

 

하아 미리 쓴 건 괜찮을 줄 알았는데, 아쉽네요...ㅠㅠ
