슬기롭게 타이어 에어 체크하기/넣기

가장 단순한데, 귀찮아서 안하는 연비 절약 방법이 있죠. 바로 타이어 공기를 자주 체크하는거에요.

 

You can improve your gas mileage by 0.6% on average—up to 3% in some cases—by keeping your tires inflated to the proper pressure. Under-inflated tires can lower gas mileage by about 0.2% for every 1 psi drop in the average pressure of all tires. Properly inflated tires are safer and last longer.

저도 집에 타이어나 공에 에어 넣는 기구가 있는데요. 계기판에 불이 들어오기 전에는 사용을 안하게 되더라구요.

그러다가 최근 날이 추워지니 타이어 에어가 모자르다는 알람이 떠서 평소에 종종 가는 Mavis Discount에서 무료로 에어를 넣었는데

무척 편하더라고요.

 

사용 방법은

1. 운전자 쪽 Door jam에서 타이어 압력을 확인하고

 

 

2. 기계에 입력하고

 

 

3. 에어를 넣다가 입력한 압력 숫자가 되면 삐삐 소리가 나는 방식이에요. 

네짝 다 넣는데 5분이 채 안갈렸어요.

 

찾아보니 Mavis 말고도 꽤나 많더라고요.
