안녕하세요? 차 스모그 테스트 때문에 골치가 아픈데 어떻게 해야 할지 몰라 문의 드립니다.
타 주에서 캘리포니아로 이사오면서 차를 가지고 왔습니다.(차량 Dodge Promaster 2500 - 일하는데 쓰는 차량 입니다)
번호판을 교체 하기 위해 스모그 테스트를 하러 갔는데 몇번 시도 하더니 커뮤니케이션이 되지 않는다고 딜러로 가보라고 합니다.
딜러 찾아가 설명을 하니 차 검사 해보겠다고 합니다. 검사 결과 딜러 테스기와는 커뮤니케이션 문제가 없다고 다른 스모그 테스트 샵 몇곳을 가보라고 합니다.
큰 스모그 테스트 업체에 가서 설명후 검사 의뢰를 합니다. 역시 여러 가지 테스트 기계로 검사하지만 되지 않습니다.
다시 딜러로 갑니다. 딜러에서는 이상이 없기에 해 줄 수 있는게 없다고 합니다. ㅠㅠ 캘리포니아 스모그 인스펙션 레프리에게 연락 해보라고 합니다.
그래서 약속 잡고 전화로 점검 합니다. 레프리는 딜러에서 해줘야 한다고 합니다. 그래서 이메일 하나 써 달라고 부탁해서 다음과 같이 이메을 받았습니다.
2017 Gasoline powered vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating under 14,000 pounds must receive and OBD II functional test as part of the smog inspection. The smog inspection system must establish communication with the vehicle, retrieve trouble codes, establish whether the malfunction indicator light is commanded on, determine OBD monitor status, and validate your vehicle’s computer data. If the vehicle is not communicating, the common reasons include but are not limited to: damaged OBD connector or wiring, aftermarket stereo, transmission computer response instead of engine computer response, and invalid data from the vehicle.
Three different smog stations using three different smog machines have tried testing your vehicle, yet communication could not be established. You may want to contact your local dealership or the Chrysler Corporation for assistance, as your vehicle is still under an emissions warranty. Your vehicle must be fixed unless the vehicle was not meant to comply with the OBD II standards. The under-hood emissions label would indicate if your vehicle is not OBD II compliant.

Dodge 홈페이지에 혹시나 컴플레인 할 수 있는곳이 있나 열심히 찾아 봐도 찾지를 못하겠습니다.
지인에게 물어보니 BBB에 컴플레인 해보라고 해서 BBB 사이트 들어가 보니 차량 컴플레인 진행중 캘리포니아주는 차량 컴플레인 안된다고 나오네요 ㅜㅜ
그러다 오늘 마모에 물어 보면 혹시 아는 분이 계실까 하여 이렇게 하소연 겸하여 질문드립니다. 혹시 비슷한 사례가 있으신분 계시면 도와주세요~
