안녕하세요? 얼마전에 데뷔한 하얏트 비즈니스 카드 받으신 분들이 계실 것 같은데요,

아시다시피 이 카드의 특장점중 하나로,
매 쿼터당 (3개월당) 가장 많은 스펜딩을 한 카테고리 3개씩에 대해서 2 Bonus Points per $1 spent 라는 것입니다. 정확한 워딩은 아래에 있는데요,
이걸 보면, $1을 스펜딩 하면 2 포인트를 추가로 주어, 저는 기본 1포인트 + 2포인트 = 토탈 3 포인트라고 생각을 하고 있었거든요?
그런데 오늘 정산 이메일이 온 것을 보니, 제가 스펜딩한 해당 금액, $5,000 이라고 치면, 5,000 포인트만 보너스로 들어왔습니다 (10,000 이 아니라 보너스 순수 보너스 포인트 부분만 정산해서 온 것이라 5,000입니다). 제 계산이 맞았다면, 기본 5,000 + 5,000x2 = 10,000 해서, 오늘 정산 이메일에 10,000 포인트를 받았어야 하는데 말이지요.
제가 잘 못 이해했나 싶어서 T&C를 다시 읽어 보았더니 이런 워딩이 있습니다.
2X POINTS for where you spend the most 라고 해 놓고,
2 Bonus Points on your top categories each quarter: You'll earn 2 Bonus Points total for each $1 USD spent (1 additional Bonus Point on top of the 1 Bonus Point per $1 USD earned on all other purchases as described below) in the two rewards categories, from a select list of rewards categories available, in which you spend the most each calendar quarter. For example, if your total spend in the top two categories during the calendar quarter equals $1,000 USD, you will earn 2,000 Bonus Points total (1,000 Bonus Points for the 1 Bonus Point earned on all other purchases as described below, plus an additional 1,000 Bonus Points because you spent the most in those top two rewards categories).
여기 첫 줄에 해당되는 "1 Bonus Point per $1 USD earned on all other purchases..." 는
1X POINTS for everything else Earn 1 Bonus Point per $1 spent on all other card purchases.*
이렇게 워딩이 되어 있는데, 그렇다면 일반 스펜딩에도 기본 $1당 1 포인트 외에, 추가로 1 보너스 포인트를 준다는 말이 맞지 않나요? 그렇다면 $1당 2 포인트를 적립? 그리고 top 스펜딩 카테고리에는 여기에 1포인트를 더 붙여 주니까 $1당 3 포인트. 저는 이렇게 생각했는데 카테고리에 x3을 주는 체이스 잉크 약관에는
3X points Earn 3 points per $1 on the first $150,000 spent in combined purchases in the following categories each account anniversary year.*
보시면 이렇게 명확히 3x라고 나와 있고 (보너스라는 말을 안 씁니다)
3 points ("3X points"): You'll earn 3 points total for each $1 of the first $150,000 spent each account anniversary year on combined purchases in the following rewards categories: shipping; social media and search engine advertising; travel; internet, cable, and phone services (two additional points on top of the 1 point per $1 earned on each purchase). After $150,000 is spent on combined purchases in these categories each account anniversary year, you go back to earning 1 point for each $1 spent, with no maximum.
여기서도 보너스라는 표현을 안 쓰고 two additional points on top of the 1 point per $1 라고 해서 헷갈리지는 않는데...
하얏트 카드의 경우에 보너스라는 표현을 써서 bonus = additional 로 이해해서 $1 = 3 포인트로 이해 했는데, 제 계산이 틀린 것 같아서 의견 여쭙고자 합니다.
