기존 역대급 오퍼가 15만+$50 SC+첫해 연회비면제였는데요. 이번 오퍼는 14만+1박 숙박권(4만)이네요. 

 

*****마모님께서 이번 사인업 오퍼로 받는 1박 숙박권 사용에 대한 주의점에 대해 알려주셨습니다.

- "IHG Premier 개인 카드의 연례 숙박권은 4만 포인트를 넘어가는 호텔에 투숙하고자 할 경우 포인트 추가 차감이 가능하다고 알려져 있습니다.

 그런데 사인업 보너스로 받게 되는 숙박권은 포인트 추가 차감이 불가능할지 모른다는 약관에 있네요. 주의하셔야 할 것 같습니다.

구IHG 카드 보유시 신IHG 카드 신청 불가도 그대로 3/24/22부터 막힐지 아니면 같이 4월말로 연기 될지는 확실치 않네요. 

프로그램 리워드 개편만 연기되는거고 크레딧 카드 개편은 예정대로 3월24일에 진행된다고 하네요.

어제 @shilph님께서 전해주신 IHG 카드 3/24/22 개편 소식이 있었는데요 [1/25/22] 발빠른 늬우스 - IHG 카드 개편 & IHG 비지니스 카드 & 숙박권+포인트 허용

 

1. 신 IHG Premier카드도 3/24/22부터 연회비가 $89->$99로 인상되는 대신 아래와 같은 베네핏 추가와 적립률 인상과 함께 개편됩니다. 

• IHG Rewards Club Premier Credit Card:
  • Annual fee increased from $89 to $99 (annual fee will increase in 2023 for existing cardholders)
  • $50 United TravelBank cash each calendar year. Must register card in your United account
  • Spending bonus of 10,000 points + $100 statement credit after spending $20,000 within a calendar year. Earn Diamond status with $40,000 in spend (card continues to receive free Platinum status)
  • Earning rates increased:
    • 5x on travel (previously 1x)
    • 5x on gas & dining (previously 2x)
    • 3x points on all other purchases (previously 1x)
  • All other benefits remain the same
  • Name changed to IHG Rewards Premier Credit Card (removal of Club in the name)

2. OMAAT에 따르면 구 IHG Select 카드 소지자는 3/24 부터 신 IHG 카드 (신규 신청이 막혀) 동시 보유가 불가능해진다는 소식이 있습니다. 

• The IHG Select Card will maintain its current annual fee, and won’t get any of the new benefits
• It’s anyone’s guess if the free night certificate on the IHG Select Card will have the same flexibility as the one on the IHG Premier Card, where you can “top off” a certificate with points; officially the answer is no, though personally I wouldn’t be surprised if all free night certificates will work the same way
• Those with the IHG Select Card will have the option of product changing to the IHG Premier Card or IHG Traveler Card
• However, I’m told that they won’t be eligible for the bonus on the IHG Traveler Card or IHG Premier Card while still holding the IHG Select Card
