물건을 살때마다 라쿠텐 activate 시켜놓고 구매하다보니, cashback points가 적립되었고, 그 금액이 58불정도 되더라구요.
그리고 오늘 제 Paypal balance에 그 금액이 디포짓되었고, 아래와 같은 메시지를 받았습니다.
일단 제 SSN을 연동해놓긴했습니다만, 제가 궁금한 점은 다음과 같습니다.
1. Paypal을 통해 캐쉬백을 받을 경우(금액이 많고 적음에 상관없이), 1099-K (매릴랜드 거주합니다.) 가 날아오는지..?
2. 1099-K를 반영해서 세금보고를 Fed, State 양쪽에 하는 것인지..? (J비자 holder로 한미 21(1)조약 의거 5년차까지 fed tax는 면제 받는 상황입니다.)
3. 반영해서 보고 한다면(금액은 오늘 즉 2021년도 2월 15일부로 수령했습니다.), 2021년(tax year) 세금보고에 반영해야하는 것인지..?
미국에서의 생활은 햇수로는 3년차지만, 세금은 여전히 어렵네요..
