The Boundless Card, our hotel card, is back with a 5 for 50,000 night offer!
I'm hesitant to say it's the best offer ever because the hotels have increased their redemption points, but it's nominally the best offer ever.
I'd say that's a pretty good deal if you're planning a hotel stay for the entire year of 2026.
In today's post, we've summarized the details of this offer and what to look out for.
Table of Contents
1. Offer basics: 5 night stays for 50,000 points
The Marriott Bonvoy Boundless® Credit Card is issued by Chase and can be considered an entry-level personal card.
- The annual fee is $95 for the first year and
- You get one 3.5k night stay every year starting with the second year renewal, so it's not a bad card to keep.
- Typical signup bonuses are in the neighborhood of 100,000 points.
Overall, it's a hotel card you'll want to make at least once.
During the promotional period that started yesterday, the
- After the first 3 months of $3000 spend
- You're told that you'll receive 5 nights as a sign-up bonus (within 8 weeks of meeting your spend).
This could be a one-night stay at a hotel that costs 50,000 points per night. If you maxed out the value of the night, you could theoretically get a night at a hotel that costs 50,000 x 5 cards = 250,000 points valuein the first place.
Considering that the sign-up bonuses on hotel cards are typically worth about two nights at the chain's top-tier hotels, the offer itself is pretty good.

There's also an added benefit for 2026.
It says that you can get up to $100 credit for booking a flight.
- Members who were issued a card between 1/8/2026 and 10/1/2026 will be eligible for the
- If your direct airline purchases exceed $$250 between 1/1-6/30, you'll receive a $$50 statement credit.
- The same is true for the second half of the year, 7/1-12/31, where you can get an additional $$50 when you spend $$250.
That's a total of $100, which could easily pay for the annual fee.
The 50,000 points and 5 nights are the icing on the cake, not the requirement.
To see if this is a good deal, you'll want to see what hotels are available at the 50,000 point level, right?
When I searched for hotels in Seoul in mid-July this year, I found the Westin Chosun near City Hall for $5.3k, JW Marriott in Dongdaemun for $5.4k, and the newly opened COEX/Bong Eunsa next to The Westin Parnassusis around 5.9 million.
Myeongdong L'Meridien in Myeongdong, a touristy neighborhood, has 60,000 points, while JW Marriott in Banpo has 6.3 points.
"Huh? That's expensive, I can't stay for 50k," you might be thinking.
I should probably start by saying that there are over 20 Marriott-affiliated hotels in Seoul alone, and many of them are much cheaper to stay at with points.
As you can see below, Aloft Gangnam is 20k, Moxy Myeongdong is 28k, Four Points Seoul Station is 28k, and so on.
The problem is that if you use 50,000 nights, they won't give you the remaining balance back if you stay at a hotel for less than 50,000.
So, getting as close to 50k as possible, or even just over 50k, is the way to maximize the value of your nights.
The Westin Parnassus, which is actually a hot new property.is less than 50,000 if you get the dates right, so we're going to say that the voucher is more than enough.
Below is the July 2026 points redemption calendar, with most days in the 40k range during the week.
If it's over 50,000 You can top off a nightly stay with up to 15,000 points, so if you're not spending more than 65,000, you're basically a candidate for a nightly stay.
Nowadays, hotel prices are outrageous, and as you can see in the image above, most hotels in Seoul are in the $200s and $300s.
If you look at it that way A 5-night stay for 50,000 points is worth anywhere from about $1,500 to $2,000 depending on redemptionsI guess you could say.
2. Points to note when redeeming accommodation vouchers
Since this sign-up bonus is in the form of nights rather than points, there are a few downsides to keep in mind.
1) First, nights cannot be converted to points.
This means that it's completely impossible to ask, "Hey, this is a 50,000-point stay, please redeem it for 50,000 points.
2) Since hotel stays don't convert to points, naturally they don't convert to airline miles.
Marriott Bonvoy points are converted to partner airline miles at a 3:1 ratio, which is not the case with this award.
3) The voucher is just one night's stay, so if you use it, that's it. You don't get a refund of the balance.
If you stay at a hotel that costs 30,000 points instead of 50,000 points for a night, you don't get the difference back in points.
So if you're not looking for a luxury hotel and your goal is to get the best deal, you might feel like the points are a bit of a waste.
4) Accommodation vouchers have an expiration date, and this one is valid for one year from the date you receive it.
So it's best to only apply for a card if you know you'll use it. There's nothing worse than getting a great deal and not being able to use it.
5) In principle, accommodation rights are not transferable.
There may be exceptions at the individual hotel level, but as a general rule, a stay is non-transferable.
So if you're thinking about booking a hotel for your family back home rather than paying for a flight, it's important to remember that you can't, as a rule.
6) Things like parking fees and resort fees are paid separately.
This isn't really a disadvantage, as it's also true for requirement point nights, but I thought I'd mention it while I'm at it.
3. What to look out for when applying for the card
Because the Bonvoy Boundless Card is issued by Chase, there are a few things to keep in mind when applying.
1) First of all, this card is a YY card in terms of 5/24, that is, you check 5/24 when applying for the card, and it counts on 5/24 after approval, so if you are over 5/24, it is not possible to apply for 99%.
2) Additionally, this card is a successor to the old SPG Personal Card, so there are a lot of people who will not be able to get it if they have a Chase or Amex-issued Bonvoy card.
- First, if you currently have any of the Bonvoy personal cards issued by Chase (i.e., the Marriott Bonvoy® Premier Card, the Marriott Rewards® Premier Card), the Marriott Bonvoy Boundless® Card, the Marriott Rewards Premier Plus Card, or the Marriott Bonvoy Bold® Card that we're introducing today, or (or) have received a sign-up bonus within the last 24 months, you will not be approved.
- In addition, if you currently have or had any of the following cards within the last 30 days: Marriott Bonvoy™ American Express® Card (also known as The Starwood Preferred Guest® Credit Card from American Express); or
- Current Amex Bonvoy Business Card (formerly known as the Amex-SPG Business Card) or current Amex Bonvoy Brilliant (formerly Amex-SPG Luxury Card) or Amex Bonvoy Bevy Cardyou applied and were approved for any of the following cards within the last 90 days: Marriott Bonvoy Business® American Express® Card, Starwood Preferred Guest® Business Credit Card from American Express, Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant® American Express® Card, Starwood Preferred Guest® American Express Luxury Card, Marriott Bonvoy Bevy™ American Express® Card].
- Current Amex Bonvoy Business Card (formerly known as the Amex-SPG Business Card) or current Amex Bonvoy Brilliant (formerly Amex-SPG Luxury Card) or Amex Bonvoy Bevy Cardreceived a new cardmember bonus or upgrade bonus for any of the following cards within the last 24 months: Marriott Bonvoy Business® American Express® Card, Starwood Preferred Guest® Business Credit Card from American Express, Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant® American Express® Card, Starwood Preferred Guest® American Express Luxury Card, Marriott Bonvoy Bevy™ American Express® Card.]; or
They say they don't get the signup bonus.
Too complicated, right?
That's why I've created a checklist as an image.
Don't just apply, check each of the questions below in order (question 1, then 2, then 3, etc.) to see if you're eligible for the card.
Everyone's situation is different, so it's hard to make generalizations, but if you still have the old Amex-SPG Personal Card, which was a full card, you'll need to wait 30 days after canceling the Amex-SPG Personal Card before you can apply for the card we're talking about today (and of course, you'll need to have no new or old Marriott cards in the last two years).
Let's wrap up today's post.
The return of the $55 night offer is certainly welcome news.
However, as mentioned above, the accommodation voucher has an expiration date and is not transferable to third parties, so it's best to think carefully before applying for the card.

Hello MileMoa~!
I think I'm the first commenter ^^ I have a question.
I have the chase bonvoy boundless 3 years ago and got the bonus. I'm going to upgrade this to the Ritz-Carlton anyway, will I still get the bonus if I apply for this card 30 days after the upgrade?
By the way, I'd like to sign up too. Please put me on your email list. Thank you
1. added.
2. in theory, I think it's possible, but the Bonvoy cards are so complicated that I can't say for sure that it will work for me. I'd recommend double-checking the terms and conditions before proceeding.
This looks like a great deal that I'm going to try to make this year when I think about my travel plans. Thanks for the great guide with the flow chart!
So, conversely, if I get the sign-up bonus for the Chase Marriott Bonvoy Boundless® Credit Card this time, can I later get the sign-up bonus for the current Amex Bonvoy Business Card (formerly the Amex-SPG Business Card) or the current Amex Bonvoy Brilliant (formerly the Amex-SPG Luxury Card) or the Amex Bonvoy Bevy Card? I've never made any of the Marriott cards.
You didn't ask me, but to answer your question, it is my understanding that it is possible to earn bonuses on Amex-affiliated Marriott cards after creating this card.
It's possible, but you'll have to wait two years after signing up for Boundless to get Brilliant, for example.
Morgan Ritz-Carlton Rewards® Credit Card in the last 30 days, (ii) have acquired the Marriott Bonvoy Bountiful™ Credit Card from Chase, the Marriott Bonvoy Boundless® Credit Card from Chase, or the Marriott Bonvoy Bold® Credit Card from Chase in the last 90 days, or (iii) received a new Card Member bonus or upgrade offer for the Marriott Bonvoy Bountiful™ Credit Card from Chase, the Marriott Bonvoy Boundless® Credit Card from Chase, or the Marriott Bonvoy Bold® Credit Card from Chase in the last 24 months."
We're glad you found this helpful. Thank you.
Thanks for the detailed explanation, Milemoa! I'm planning to travel soon, so I'll have to sign up for that. And I'm in the queue for the sign up list too! Thanks for always sharing good information with us~.

Hi~ Thanks for the great offers, I'm finding Milemoa very helpful. I got my first Chase Freedom Rise in June last year and just applied for the Delta Gold in January this year. Do you think it's okay to apply for this Marriot boundless card since my credit history isn't that long yet...? I ask because I read that Chase says to apply 1 year after your first credit card. I'm so new ;-)
Since you already have a Chase card, I'd say your chances of approval should be good, assuming you have some sort of limit on that card. Good luck.
I have a Marriott Bonvoy card and my spouse has added her card to mine. In this case, I would like to know if she can apply for the Bonvoy card separately.
I understand that it doesn't matter if you have an AU card or not.
I'm sure Jerriot would be a good use case...haha
If the dates work out and you don't mind the point deduction, this is a great use case.
hello.
I opened a Chase Bonvoy card in November 2021, which I still have today.
Is it best to cancel and wait 30 days to get the bonus points again?
Thank you in advance for your response.
Looking at the terms, it seems like it.
This is the offer I've been waiting for. I'm glad I signed up through your affiliate link! Thank you~.
Thanks for using the link.
Top off your stay with up to 15,000 points on top of your nightly stay
I didn't know that. Thank you.
It would be nice to top-off with no limit, but that would be greedy 🙂 .
I'm always watching. I've been watching for 10 years, but I haven't had a chance to join yet. I want to join. Thanks to the points, there are also many travel reviews.
Added your email to the notification list.
Thank you so much for all the great information you provide! I have a silly question for you^^;;;
I got the Chase Bonvoy Boundless card about 8 years ago and still use it~ I would like to take advantage of this opportunity, but do I need to cancel the old card to get a new one? And can I sign up for Milemoa as a member here? Thank you very much, I would like to write a post but I don't have permission.
1. Canceling and waiting 30 days is usually the recommended course of action.
2. added your email to the notification list.
I got my card issued through your link too, thank you.
But please, please let me be a member, I requested to be included in the list of members a year ago.
Thanks for using the link.
We see that you registered your email for September 2024. We're planning to sign up before the new year, so we appreciate your patience.
Hi, Milemoa. I know it's been over the holidays, but I don't see any signup announcements up yet, so I was wondering if you have any plans.
There is an announcement about signing up for membership on our message board.
https://www.milemoa.com/bbs/board/12157984
Please note that separate email reminders are not currently possible.
I signed up with your link and got approved just fine, thank you.
Congratulations on the approval and thanks for the link.
I'm looking for a card to pay for rent instead of a credit card, and I'm torn between the Chase Hyatt and Marriott Bonvoy cards...!
Marriott Bonvoy is probably better, I have some Hyatt points from using Hyatt so far
If I had to choose between the two cards, the Bonvoy would be better in my opinion. Because it's not easy to find a hotel where you can go to Hyatt 4 star ;);
I have a Bold card, if I close it, can I open it right away...? I'm tempted to use the 5 night voucher because I used it so well last time....
And if you can add me to the signup list, please do! I'm always learning a lot!
1. 30 days is the recommended waiting period, but I'm not sure if it's exactly 30 days or if it can be shorter;;
2. added.
Is this card good enough for a 4-night trip to Cancun this summer?
Cancun is going to be over 50,000 points in the summer, I wonder if I can use them?
I think it's a good idea to check both the points deduction and the available hotels before proceeding.
Thank you for the information.
Thanks for including me in the list so I can sign up ^^.
Added.
Thank you so much for your quick information. I have gained so much knowledge about wear and tear and other things from this board (I spent over an hour perusing it today). I think I can be a really helpful member of this community with what I've learned and experienced about wear and tear/finance/real estate/investment (not that I'm trying to be) and I'd love to join (I've been waiting for years!). I look forward to it~.
Added to the notification list.
I came across this site last year and have been visiting and studying since then. I also got information from here, so I opened the Sari card and am getting benefits. I also did my first business ticket via Japan, not Korean Air, by transferring miles and studying this site. I can reply a lot and do a lot of reviews, and I hope I will be given the opportunity to join at some point.
Not long ago TokyoWe have a lot of travel plans for the World Cup in Korea this year. Chase Sari opened in August last year, will Bonvoy Chase open? There are no Bonvoy affiliated Amexes as mentioned above, only Delta and Hilton.
1. added to the notification list.
2. yes. I think you can.
I applied for it because I think it will be useful when I go to Japan this summer, but it's a review. It's only 2/24 and my credit is 803, but it's a great deal! Thank you for the information! I'll post my application for membership carefully.
1. hopefully you've been defended.
2. added.
Thank you so much. It turned out that it was because I had my credit report freeze, and when I called after solving it, it was approved right away. ^^
Great, congrats on the approval and thanks for the update.
Hi, always great to see you!
I'm an existing Boundless holder and was wondering if you know if the ticket offer will be extended to existing cardholders and if so, when? I don't see it through the Chase app yet.
And please add me to the signup list, thanks!
1. The terms say that you need to register through the link below.
Existing eligible cardmembers (cardmember by 1/7/2026) must complete a one-time activation through https://www.chase.com/mybonus/marriott-airline-credit-c or by calling the phone number on the back of your card.
2. added.
I'm planning a trip to Hawaii this year, so I signed up right after reading your post!!! Thank you~ I learned something new about the TOP OFF availability. (Please put me on your list to apply for membership)
Added.
I've had this card for over 2 years now, if I cancel it now and wait 30 days to reapply, will I get the sign-up bonus again?
I know it must have been more than 2 years since you got the signup and you usually recommend 30 days after canceling.
Good signup with wear links, thanks for making it so easy to understand.
Thanks for using the link.
Thanks for the great information as always.
I'd love to join, can you put me on the application list?
There was a Delta Drink sharing on the board, but I have so many vouchers that I don't use, so I want to share a little.
Added.
I have 2 personal cards and 2 business cards with Chase, so I'm pretty sure I'll get it right away if I apply.
I have a question.
I'm going to Korea in June this year, so the 5-night voucher is attractive. It's a good deal for 5 nights for an annual fee of $95...but I'm wondering if I should have kept the card after a year and continue to pay the annual fee.
As Mamo wrote above, you can get back $100 by doing $50×2 every quarter when booking an airline ticket, but I don't think I'll be traveling by car much, so I don't think I'll be flying much. Of course, when you renew after 2 years, you also get 1 accommodation ticket (3.5k) every year, but I'm not sure if you need to make it for a 1-year trip to Korea.
Am I thinking of something wrong?
Nowadays, Korean hotels have gone up a lot, so you have to pay 150-200 dollars for any place. If you stay for five nights, it's worth about 750 to 1,000 dollars. Even without the annual fee, it's worth 650-900 dollars. That's about what I'm comfortable with.
If you find it useless after a year, you can cancel it at that time.
I got 5 stays with this card last year and used 2 of them, but the third one is due sooner than I thought and I'm not sure how to use it.
I'd love to be in line for the next sign up! I've been studying hard for a year with Milemoa and have made a lot of cards and traveled a lot. Thank you so much!
Added.
I'm planning to travel this year, so thanks for the great information~!

Hi Milemoa.
Thanks for always posting good information.
If you don't mind, I'd like to be added to the signup list (I didn't see anyone ask in the Venture card post above, so here it is)
Thank you.

I'm always looking at it. It's still hard for me, but I've been reading it several times.
I totally agree that the mile game is quite challenging. At first you'll wonder what I'm talking about, but if you stick with it, I think you'll find yourself getting better before you know it.
I'm always watching. It's still a little hard for me, but I've been reading it a lot and I want to join.
Added your email to the notification list.
I recently paid for all 7 nights of my trip to Japan with miles using information from MileMoa.
I'd love to post a travelogue too, so please add me to your list.
Well done!

I'm keeping an eye on it, thanks for the info.

Hello, I have more than $10,000 in my Chase account and
I have 11 months and 20 days of credit history,
(Chase credit score 695 / BOA credit score 765)
Recently... I have a history of Shari rejections on Monday / Recon rejections on Tuesday this week.
When is a good time to apply for this card?
2.1 days ago, I overspent and I really need this
If you need to get the physical card before 2/1, I don't think you'll be able to use this card, even with instant approval. You might want to consider an Amex card instead, as they give you an instant card number immediately after approval.
Hi Milemoa, thanks to you I got the Chase Bonvoy card in 2022 and used the 5 night stay well and closed it in 2024, will it be ok to reapply this time? Thanks as always!
Also, please sign me up, I asked to be on the list a while ago.
1. On paper (assuming you don't have another Bonvoy card), it looks like you're good to go. Of course, you won't know if you're approved until you apply.
2. did you use a different email last time? We didn't see your email in the list, so we added the one you're using now.
Milemoa, you are always a great help. Thank you.
I really want to sign up, so please add me to the list.
I answered your earlier comment.
Hi, this is my first time commenting.
Thanks for the detailed explanation.
As an additional question, if I make a hotel reservation with a voucher and then have a change of plans and end up canceling or rescheduling, will I be able to get my voucher back?
And I'd appreciate it if you'd add me to your signup list!
I tried to apply with your link and was rejected. The reason is Number of recently opened accounts on consumer credit report
I opened my Chase card in May of last year and have only opened one other card since then, either Citibank or Barclays. I applied for the Sapphire 3 times last May and was successful, so does that count towards the Chase Bank 5/24 rule? Or do the other cards count towards the 5/24 rule since I now have a total of 7 credit cards?
It's not just the number of applications, only approved personal cards that count. If you say you have a total of seven cards, and you haven't opened them in the last 24 months, that in itself is not a disqualifier.
I would suggest calling Chase and asking them to reconsider.
Thanks for the answer, I realized I've made 5 cards in 2 years, including non-Chase cards... I'm sorry but I'll have to wait for the next post.
Yes. Bonuses go around in circles, so you might want to wait for the next one.
1. Yes. I understand that if you cancel your stay, your voucher will be refunded. However, the voucher has an expiration date, and you must not exceed it.
2. added.
Thank you for your answer~!
Thank you for the detailed information, Milemoa.
I was wondering if my wife is an authorized user, can she redeem her stay even if I am not traveling with her?
I've heard that individual hotels may be able to make accommodations, but as a general rule, it's not possible to stay with someone else on a voucher.
I don't know where else to ask, so I'm leaving a comment here. When I search and book Cancun All Inclusive for 3 adults and 1 teen on Marriott Bon Voyage, it comes up around 62000 points. If I search and book for 4 people, does it still count as double occupancy and ask for a supplement for the second person? Does anyone know? Thank you.
I'm not sure about this one ;-) it's not without the risk of scratching your head, but it might be worth checking with the hotel.
Question.
I saw and made the Marriott Bonvoy card here and got 5 accommodation coupons, but usually hotels in Korea show 218000 points like this, is this correct? Is it possible to see points by date if I go to the web, not the app?
I'm excited to get the voucher and book it, but the availability is not so good... Am I looking at it wrong?
Hyatt card is working fine, but what's wrong with Marriott? Please answer.
Since you're seeing 218,000 points, I'm guessing you're probably searching for 3 or 4 nights in a row. You might want to try searching by day.
Thank you, Milemoa, for always being so thorough in your explanations!
I missed it last time, so this time I just clicked on the link and applied for the card lol

Hello, I came to the United States last summer and got a credit card through Chase Bank right away, but I don't use it much, so I don't think I've built up much credit. Is it possible to apply for a card like mine?
If you got Chase with your first card, I don't think this one is out of the question, but of course, you won't know if you're approved until you try.
I'm always looking forward to seeing it! Please add me to the list!

Wow, that's really good information~!
I'd like to apply for the card, but I need to discuss it with my husband.
I'd like to sign up, is that possible?

Thank you!
I went to the English site and checked the application page, but I couldn't find when this offer ended.
I have a short credit period, so I'm going to build it up a bit more and apply in the 3rd or 4th week of March, but will it be over before then? Just wondering if it's written somewhere and I didn't see it!
It is our understanding that the end date is not yet known. We'll update when we know.
Hello, I'm looking to open a credit card for my wedding and I have some expenses, but Chase only has freedom, flex, sap, amazon, and recently within the past year only amazon card. The only other bank I have is BOA credit card. I've been using Chase as my main credit card and my honeymoon will be later this year or next year. As of now, I'm thinking of applying for the Bonvoy or Delta Gold, but which one should I apply for? Or can you recommend something else?
Bonvoy, Delta, and Hilton should all be fine.
Thanks MileMom, we are going to Hawaii from LA to Hawaii for our honeymoon in early January, is there a better card to use for flights or hotels?!
I'd do a search for hotels in Hawaii for the dates you want to go and see how much you can get for Hilton or Marriott points. If your spouse can apply for the card as well, you should be able to get 4 nights for, say, 2 Hilton nights with points, but it really depends on the hotel you want and if the room is actually available.
