Are you struggling with the high cost of living these days?
I was grocery shopping and I was like, "Oh, this is like $100 worth of stuff," and then when I calculate it, it's like $200, and I'm like, "That's way too much, even with the real cost of living these days.
Inflation is pretty bad for miles/points as well, and the only good thing about miles (unlike my salary, which doesn't go up ;;)) is that the card offers themselves have been on the rise.
In today's post, we've summarized the features of our current card offers.
- We'll start with the two offers that end on 3/11, and then move on to the
- 3 airline mile offers
- We're going to describe five hotel points offers.
Table of Contents
1. Chase, Southwest personal card offers: Through 3/11.
(Updated: 3/12)
The current offer is 50,000 points for $1000 spend for 3 months. Make no mistake.
=====
First up is the Southwest Airlines (Southwest) offer.
Personal cards are currently on offer.
Choose from three personal cards
Once you get one card and fill it with spending ($4,000 for 3 months)In addition to the Promotional Companion Pass ("Promotional Companion Pass"), which is valid through the end of February 25th of next year, the30,000 points.
A typical Companion Pass is valid for the remainder of the year in which it's earned + one year the following year, right? In that sense, it's a disadvantage that the Companion Pass is not valid for a full year.
However, the card is good for roughly a year's worth of companion passes, so I think it could be helpful for those who are traveling a lot this year and don't have access to a business card.
For personal cards, there are three types of cards.
- $There's a $149 annual fee, but
- $75 Southwest® travel credit, and
- Upgraded Boardings are also available, where you can receive four per year.
The Priority card (Southwest Rapid Rewards® Priority Credit Card) is your best option.

======
You know those bosses who spend a lot on their cards?
There are two business cards issued by Capital One: the Capital One Venture X Business card, and another card called the Capital One Spark Cash Plus.
Both cards are business cards, and both have crazy spending requirements, but they're great offers if you spend a lot of money on your card each month for business.
The Business Venture X card earns 150,000 miles after spending $20,000 in 3 months. After 6 months of $100,000 in total spend, you'll earn another 150,000 miles, for a total bonus of 300,000 miles. Once you reach $100,000, you'll earn another 200,000 miles based on your card spend, for a total of 500,000 miles. The Spark Cash Plus card offers $1,500 cash after spending $20,000 in 3 months. After 6 months of $100,000 in spending, you'll get an additional $1,500, for a total of $3,000 in bonuses. Similarly, when you reach $100,000, you'll get another $2,000 in card-spending rewards, for a total of $5,000.
Here, Venture X has a Dorrance feature that allows you to transfer these "miles" to multiple airlines.
For example, the As I mentioned in the last post, you can also pass it to EVA flights.. In this case, if you were to turn over 500,000 EVAs, you would receive a total of 375,000 EVA miles, which would be enough for five one-way US-South Korea business tickets on the West Coast. (Assuming, of course, that there are miles seats available).
Even if $100,000 is out of the question and you only need to fill up $20,000 to get 150,000 "miles" + 40,000 "miles" for spending on the card, that's enough miles to fly 2 one-way flights, so I don't think it's too much of a stretch to say it's worth $5,000.
These cards end next Monday, March 11thIf you've been on the fence about applying, it looks like you'll have to hurry.
3. Chase, United Business Card
There are several United Airlines partner cards issued by Chase.
The United℠ Business Card is currently running a great promotion.
[04.08.2024] The current offer is 75,000 bonus miles after 3 months of $5000 spend. We hope you're not mistaken.
| United℠ Business Card (updated: 11.2025) | |
|---|---|
| Basic features | 3 months $5,000 75,000 miles + 2,000 Premier qualifying points |
| Two (2) United ClubSM one-time passes will be deposited into the primary Cardmember’s MileagePlus Program account after account opening and every 12 months thereafter as long as the credit card account remains open. | |
| 5,000 mile bonus on card renewal for members with both personal and business cards | |
| If you make 5 or more United flight-related purchases in a calendar year with this card (each purchase is $100 or more at a time), you'll receive a $125 United travel credit (United TravelBank cash)from the server. | |
| Cardholders have access to XN fare classes, making it relatively easy to secure a seat when redeeming United miles | |

4. Citi, American Airlines Personal Card Offer
This is an American Airlines credit card offer.
It's a personal card, a Citi® / AAdvantage® Platinum Select® World Elite Mastercard® card.
- You'll receive 75,000 AA AAdvantage® miles after spending $3,500 in the first 4 months after opening the card.
- Baggage benefits (terms apply) and more. The price of sending bags has recently increased, which is a nice perk if you're flying domestically.
- There's a $99 annual fee, but it says the first year is waived ("this fee is waived for the first 12 months of account opening")
- Please note that the new account bonus is not available if you have received a new account bonus for a Citi® / AAdvantage® Platinum Select® account in the past 48 months for a card of the same type as this card. ("American Airlines AAdvantage® bonus miles are not available if you have received a new account bonus for a Citi® / AAdvantage® Platinum Select® account in the past 48 months."
"American Airlines AAdvantage® bonus miles are not available if you have received a new account bonus for a CitiBusiness® / AAdvantage® Platinum Select® account in the past 48 months.")
I've been getting great value on AA miles lately, so this is a great opportunity if you need AA miles.

5. Amex and Delta personal card offers
Update (3/27)
The Delta offer has ended, if you didn't know.
The current offer looks like this
| Delta Personal Cards | |
|---|---|
| Basic features | There are three types of Delta personal cards issued by Amex. |
| Cardholders can redeem miles like cash for Delta ticket purchases. 10,000 miles = $100. | |
| For Platinum and Reserve cards, lounge access policies and elite tier calculations have changed completely starting in 2024. | |

======
Delta personal cards issued by Amex are currently on offer.
For the personal gold card (Delta SkyMiles® Gold American Express Card), I think it's fine to recommend as a first Amex card.
To recap,
$0 introductory annual fee for the first year, then $150 for the second year.70,000 welcome bonus miles after 6 months of $3000 spend is like $700 in cash for Delta ticketsUp to $100 credit for hotel bookings on the Delta site (calculated on a calendar year basis)$200 Delta credit when you spend $10,000 (in calendar year) (subject to redemption within one year of receiving credit)
So I'd say it's easily worth about $800.
6. Amex, Bonvoy Brilliant Card Offers
This hotel card is issued by Amex, and its official name is the Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant™ American Express® Card.
The card's welcome bonus has now been increased to 185,000 points ("Earn 185,000 Marriott Bonvoy bonus points after you use your new Card to make $6,000 in purchases within the first 6 months of Card Membership.") That's a great bonus.

The no annual fee personal card (Hilton Honors American Express Card) is the one I used to recommend as a solid first Amex card.

In Korea, if the dates work out, you can also stay at Parnas InterContinental at COEX in Seoul, but it's worth noting that the COEX InterContinental in the same COEX complex will be closing this July for renovations and then moving on to another hotel brand.
Let's wrap up today's post.
The cost of living is high and money is tight these days, so it's nice to have a good card offer.
However, if you do get a card, make sure you pay it off every month and stick to it, or you'll end up with a card that's bigger than your belly.
We hope you all have a great weekend.

Oh well, even so, I was comparing my own combination of decent cards these days, but thank you for posting it well at a glance, MileMoanim 🙂 Thank you.
We hope this helps.
While spending is required, the Venture X BizCard is a
I want to be a boss with that kind of ability, and thank you for the information always^^.
I'm sure it's quick for those in business, so thanks for the comment.
What about the Chase Marriott 3-month $5,000 5-night offer?
If you can redeem your stay within a year, it's a good deal.
9. Chase, IHG cards
I own the old card ($49)
I know of two old card holders who don't get the sign up bonus, am I misunderstanding ?
I want to create a new card
Personal cards cannot have both new and old cards, but if you create a Biz card, it can be held alongside an old card.
Yes, thank you
Thank you
Answer. DallasChoi, as you answered above, you can't have the old card and the new card at the same time. Since the old card has good features (10% rebate), I think it would be best to get a business card if you become a business card.
Thank you for your valuable information :)) I'm a newbie with so many things I don't know... Can I use my Amex Delta card to buy Korean Air tickets?
I know that Delta and Korean Air are part of the same SkyTeam, so I can buy with miles, but the mileage redemption is not very good. I'm looking at Korea to New York for 90,000 one way and 144,000 roundtrip.
Thanks for the answer!!!
Are you referring to booking Korean Air with Delta miles? It's possible, but it's not easy these days due to extremely limited seats and high mileage redemptions between the US and Korea. You're better off booking Korean Air between Korea and Japan, etc.
Please note that the new account bonus is not available if you have received a new account bonus for a CitiBusiness® / AAdvantage® Platinum Select® account within the past 48 months for a card of the same type as this card. ("American Airlines AAdvantage® bonus miles are not available if you have received a new account bonus for a CitiBusiness® / AAdvantage® Platinum Select® account in the past 48 months.")
This is an AA personal card, so if I open an AA Citi Biz card within 48 months, I won't get the bonus? I ask, aren't personal and business separate?
I know they're separate products, so they're not related.
I've also included your business card in the body, Mr. Mamo.
Oops, I got the wrong business card terms. The terms below are the ones that apply to this card. I've also corrected the text.
"American Airlines AAdvantage® bonus miles are not available if you have received a new account bonus for a Citi® / AAdvantage® Platinum Select® account in the past 48 months."
I wonder if the Venture X Biz card will repot to your personal credit like Spark does!
5/24 Under management
As far as I know, if you use social when creating a business card, it will report when you create it, but it will not include things like 5/24 that affect personal cards.
I know it's not, but do it at your own risk.
I did a search and didn't find anything relevant
If I book business with southwest points, will the companion ticket come out in the same business class or just the lowest economy?
It sounds like you're asking about priority boarding because Business Select is pretty much all about being able to board early with no difference in seats. There's a thread on Flyertalk about that.
https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/southwest-airlines-rapid-rewards/2107869-companion-pass-business-select.html
Delta Amex is popping up again lol I couldn't even make a green last time... Amex is like me and Papi lol
I feel like real popups are overkill these days.
Thank you for all the great information that makes me money. I applied and was approved today for the Citi® / AAdvantage® Platinum Select® World Elite Mastercard® card using your link, thank you.
Congratulations on the approval and thanks for the link.
I opened the Sawe Plus card in December 2021 and received 50k bonus points after spending $2k in 3 months, and then 100k points after spending $12k in total for 12 months. I used the card for another year and then canceled it immediately, so now I don't have a Sawe card. I know the rule is that you have to wait 24 months after receiving the bonus to get a new sign-up bonus, but in this case, would I still be eligible for the companion pass and bonus points?
You received your signup bonus in February/March 2022, so I'm guessing you might be caught in the 24-month threshold.
The Chase Marriott Bonvoy Boundless card annual fee $95 plus 5 free nights after first 3 months $5k spend is supposed to be the best offer, but what about this card?
That's a good offer.
I'm new to the Hilton card, which do you prefer, Honors vs. Pass vs. Unbull?
There's no annual fee, no free night with a pass, and no free night with a pass, so should I start with Honors?
If I make a pass or fumble afterward, will I still get points?
It hasn't been implemented yet, but the current trend at Amex is to lump cards in the same family together and once you've already made a higher tier card, lower tier cards don't get the bonus. With that in mind, I'd recommend starting with the lowest base Hilton card.
I'm going to Korea at the end of December and I don't have an offer, but I have a good points earning rate, should I create an Amex Gold or Amex Delta Gold or Platinum with an offer now?
For gold, I think you can find 90,000 links if you look.
P2 was 4/24, and all we needed was AA and Korean Air, followed by a hotel, so I applied for Citi AA and got the inlays. It's a shame I missed the ink when it was 4/24 at the beginning of the year, because last time I had the deal, Citi was picky, but I got the inlays, so I'm glad I did this time!
Congratulations.
The Business Venture X card is $20,000 for 3 months. Is this correct? The table says $30,000.
The Business Venture X card is $20,000 for 3 months. Is this correct? The table says $30,000.
On March 11, the offer was updated: if you signed up before March 11, the offer was 150k for 3 months of $20k spend; after March 11, it's 150k for 3 months of $30k spend.
Make no mistake.
Authorized via link.
It's 4/24 and I've been trying to decide what to make, but I've finally decided on IHG.
I'm not sure what I'm going to use it for, but I'm going to be going to the Holiday Inn on Levine Road a few times this year, so this is where I'll start collecting.
Congratulations on the approval and thanks for the link.
Thanks for keeping us up to date!
Do you plan to reopen your membership anytime soon?
I also check the message boards a few times a week, and I'm looking forward to interacting with you guys!
Signups happen once every 1-2 years, and the last signup was just last month, so the next one won't be until the first half of next year at the earliest.
Mamo, thank you for the great information.
I got the dates wrong and I opened my last Unite Business card and it was not 24 months old, it was about 17 months old and I opened the card again, so I didn't get the signup bonus... I have to wait 24 months again. You have to wait 24 months again.
On paper, yes. If you don't mind spending, you might want to give it a try.
Okay, I'll try to fill it in first, thank you.
I'm approved for IHG with your link!
I was wondering which card to open, thanks for the introduction 🙂 .
Congratulations on the approval and thanks for using the link.
hello. Thanks to you, I applied for and was approved for the Citi AA card. I got the Hilton card 2 years ago from your link and was using it. I still haven't gotten around to signing up because I missed the time each time. If you could add me to the mailing list, I'd love to have a chance next time.
I'd also like to ask your opinion on the next card issuance.
I don't usually have a lot of monthly spending, but I'm looking to spend $10,000-$20,000 in the next 6-8 months, so I'm thinking about getting a new card to go along with my AA card.
I currently have the following cards: Chase Freedom (22.05)/Hilton Basic (22.06)/Apple (23.11)/Citi AA (24.03). I'm considering the Chase Sharp/Sherina Venture X for high spending, but I'm open to other options. If you have any recommendations, I'd love to hear from you^^.
1. added.
2. if you can apply for a business card, I think a business card is your best bet. If not, I'd aim for a Chase-focused card with a promotion.
I'm always getting good information.
As soon as I got my green card, I was nervous
I applied for my first United Business Card with my mom's link and got the following results
Mermaid received.
Thank you.
Congrats on the mermaid and thanks for the link.
Thanks for the great information as always.
I applied on the Chase IHG card abrasion site and got a mermaid.
Thanks again!
Congrats on the mermaid and thanks for the link.
Hello~!
Thanks for the great information as always.
I applied for and received the Delta Amex Gold Card before March 27th.
But I went on vacation and now I want to register my card.
The 70,000 mile offer isn't ending, is it?
I think it should be fine as the timing of the authorization is important, but if you want to be sure, you might want to give Amex a call on chat and make a note of it.
I'm looking to buy a round-trip ticket for my family of 5 from the US to Korea, but I need to get a credit card first.
Do you have any recommendations? I'm open to any business card ^^ I'd prefer a card that allows me to utilize my frequent flyer miles.
1. I should probably start by saying that simultaneous ticketing for a family of 5 is not easy.
2. there are Korean Air partner cards, but it's not easy to accumulate a lot of miles, so I think it's more realistic to focus on Chase business cards if you can, then transfer to Virgin during promotions and aim for Korean Air Economy.
As for UA miles, the business card is currently running a promotion through this afternoon, which is a 100,000 mile offer, but the redemptions have gone up recently, so it's about a one-person economy roundtrip.
https://www.milemoa.com/credit/united-business/
I'm trying to get a card at this point for a family of 5 for a US-Korea ticket. I have a business
chase ink preferred vs us bank skypass which is better
I want a good deal on Korean Air miles, please advise. Thank you.
Thanks to you, Amex Delta Gold Mama, I have applied and am spending! But I was wondering if the miles will come in right away after I fill the spend and how long it will take, and if I fill the spend and end up refunding a certain amount, what will happen to the miles I received? Thanks!
1. usually the bonus comes in when the bill for the month you've met your spend comes out, but I know Amex generally has a welcome bonus that comes in when you meet your spend (regardless of your bill) (there may be exceptions, of course).
2. in theory, you can take the bonus miles back if the amount drops below your spend due to returns, so we recommend filling up generously.
I'm trying to apply for the Citi AA card even though I have Discover and Hilton Amex cards with credit scores in the 730-750 range (2 years of US residency). I tried to apply with your link, but when I clicked on the link, it just took me to the homepage. Can I apply as it is? I hope this helps at least a little bit.
I'm not sure if this is a good idea, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea at all. I'm still trying to get my hands on a chase sapphire and hopefully the event will come out~ Thank you.
1. congrats on the approval. (I don't have an affiliate link for the AA personal card, so I put up the Citi GongHome link).
2. sign-ups are once every 1-2 years and are limited to a 24 hour window. The most recent sign-up was in February, so it will be the first half of 2025 at the earliest.
I applied for the '6. Amex, Bonvoy Brilliant Card Offer' for the first time in my 6 months in the US and got a mermaid. (Mermaid is a word I learned here ^^)
I think I ended up applying on the Amex Card page via the link above, so maybe that helps?
Congrats on the mermaid and thanks for the link.
hello
I'm using the Korean Amex right now.
Can I get the welcome bonus if I apply for the Brilliant Amex?
I looked it up and found that the Amex Welcome is only for the first time~.
I know it's separate from the Korean card.
I've always wondered
What do you do with the card after you open it for the sign-up bonus, meet the requirements, and get all the points?
Once I get it, can I just stick it in my card drawer?
Do I need to keep writing it periodically, like once a year?
Sometimes cards with no annual fee will automatically cancel after a long period of inactivity, so it's a good idea to set up an automatic debit or mark it on your calendar for a small amount of money each month and use it about once every six months.
