차가 없는지라 아주 가끔 나들이 가거나 꼭 필요할 때 렌트를 해서

최대한 뽕을 뽑아서 생활하고 있습니다. (나들이 + 장보기 라던가...)

요새는 UA + 렌트카 LIS  조합으로 이용하고 있습니다.

그 과정에서 마모에서 알게된 여러가지 노하우 + 지식 들이 큰 도움이 되었습니다. (감사감사)

LIS가 굳이 필요할까도 싶지만

사람사는 일이 한치 앞도 모르는 일이고

제 의지와는 상관 없이 종신 노예 계약을 맺게 될지도 모른다는 생각에

일단은 마음편히 가자는 생각이지요.

일단 각설하고

이곳 마일모아에서 논의된, 그리고 다들 기정 사실로 받아들이고 있는 부분 가운데 하나가

신용카드에서 제공하는 rental car protection이

UA나 기타 몇몇 카드를 제외하고는 모두 secondary라는 거였는데요

이상하게 최근에 어떤 분과 이야기를 나누다가

그 분의 지인은 자기가 가진 비자 카드 하나가지도 모두 해결하고 있다는 이야기를 들었습니다.

심지어는 작은 사고가 났는데  모두 그 분의 카드로 커버가 되었다고 하네요.

100% 확실하지는 않지만 UA카드가 아니었던 것 같고요,

그래서 혹시나해서 Visa Signature benefit을 찾아봤는데

아래와 같은 coverage조항이 있네요.
