아마 여기 IHG 플랫인 분들 많으실 텐데, 혹시 ambassador 가지고 계신 분 조언을 좀 듣고 싶어요. 

제가 있는 이쪽 국가는 메리엇, 하얏이 거의 없고,  IHG 쪽 intercontinental/crowne plaza 가 잘 되어 있어요.  힐튼도 괜찮고. 

현재 플랫으로 잘 다니고 있는데 - room upgrade / late check-out (오후 3-4시)도 거의 항상 해주긴 하는데,

항상 제가 날짜에 미리 체크해서 요구해야 하고, 컨펌해야 하고 하는게 좀 (많이) 번거롭긴 합니다. 

 ambassador 는 이게 자동으로 "개런티" 되는 것 같더라구요. 그래서 고려를 좀 해보고 있는데... 

 ambassador status $200 불 주고 살 수 있다고 하는데 이건 쫌 아니다 싶고,  -_-

 32000 포인트로 1년 살 수 있다고 해서 이걸 고려중인데 ... 플랫과 비교해 그만큼  가치가 있을까 또 의문. 

또 플랫과 큰 차이는 아래 certificate 를 주는 건데, 답변 이메일 받으니 쓰는 조건도 엄청 까다로운 것 같고.  

혹시 IHG ambassador 이신 분들 경험 조언 부탁드려요. 그리고 32000 포인트 아닌 다른 방법으로 얻는 길이 있을까요?

May we advise that the certificate is not valid on any other rates or packages. Advance reservations are required as rooms on the "Ambassador Weekend Rate (IBAMB)" are subject to availability. The original certificate must also be presented at time of check-in to the hotel or the hotel may decline the booking.

Moreover, please note that the reservation will show full rate on both nights during the online booking process. This will be adjusted by the hotel on check-in to reflect as complimentary on the second night only when member presents the original certificate. One certificate may be used per stay. A "Weekend" is determined Friday, Saturday andSunday, except in the Middle East where hotels may define the weekend as Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Certificates are valid only for the member who has InterContinental Ambassador status, and are not transferable. The certificate is valid for room and tax only, and that Reward Nights (points reservations) do not apply in conjunction with the certificate.
