이 조항이 꽤 까다로운데요? 무슨 말인지 일단 모르겠어요.
1. Gold points로도 가능한 경우, gold points가 아니라 돈으로 pay 해야한다?
2. Gold points로만 pay해야한다?
gold points 적립이 되는 rate 로 pay 하는걸 얘기하는거 같아요. 한마디로 3rd party website 로 예약하면 안되고 (이러면 포인트 적립이 안되잖아요) 포인트 적립이 안되는 너무 싼 rate 도 안된다는 말 같아요.
아, 이건 칼슨 프로모 어디나 스탠다드로 들어있는 특별날 거 없는 문구인데요. 물론 third party 에서 예약한 거 프로모 해당 안 되는건 이것과 상관없이 당근이고 (이건 어느 호텔체인이나 그렇죠). 제가 알기로는 "at a rate eligible for Gold Point" 는 포인트로 예약 가능한 rate 면 된다는 거고 (물론 포인트로 예약하면 프로모 해당 안 되죠, P&C 도 안 됩니다), 칼슨 홈에서 예약 가능한 거의 대부분 rate 가 포인트 예약 가능하기 때문에 사실 특별한 restrcition 은 아니예요. 요거보다 더 중요한 건 머무시려는 곳이 "at a Participating Property" 가 아닌가 꼭 체크하셔야 한다는 것.
participating hotel을 어떻게 확인하죠? terms를 봐도 안나오네요. 그냥 모든 radisson이 되는 건가요? 당연히 country inn이나 park inn은 안되겠죠?

이거랑 같이하면 래디슨 호텔 2 stay 로 AA 7500 마일 + 클칼 6000 포인트 얻게 되는데, 괜찮네요..
다만, 주변에 갈만한 래디슨 호텔이 없네요.. ㅠ
