밑에 아래와 같은 질문을 올렸고, 회원분들께 명확한 답변도 들었지만, T&C에도 오타를 낼 정도로 허술하게 관리하다니... 생각하며 그냥 한번 시도나 해보자 하는 마음으로

2017년 7월 체크인 하는 Hyatt Regency Hakone P&C 예약을 하나 만들었습니다. Hyatt 홈페이지에서. 

12,500 포인트 + 15,363 YEN 으로요.

그리고, Gold Passport에 전화를 해서, 내 예약에 DSU사용할수 있는지 알아봐줄래? 했더니 뭐 어카운트 정보 몇개 확인해보고 탁탁 컴퓨터를 치는 소리가 나더라구요

(저는 두근두근... ㅋㅋㅋ)

근데 한 30초 있다가 "다 됐어. 뭐 더 필요한거 없어?" 해서 쿨한척 하며 "아니, 고마워. 바이." 하고 끊었는데, 바로 원래예약 취소 메일과, 스윗룸 컨펌 메일이 날라오네요?

일단 컨펌 메일 왔으니 낙장불입 아닌가요? :)

근데, 홈페이지에 My Award에서는 해당 DSU가 아직 안 깎였네요. 아직도 3개 Available로?

원예약에 쓰였던 12,500 Points는 차감 되었구요.

이게, 내부 교육이 덜된건지 아니면 아직 확실히 policy가 변경이 안된건지는 모르겠는데,

2017년 2월 다이아 종료되시는분들중에 아직 DSU못쓴거 남아있으신 분들은 예약시 시도나 해보시라고 업데이트 남겨봅니다.

저는 작년에 스테이터스 매칭 대란에 하얏 다이아를 받아서 2017년 2월에 티어가 끝나는 상황입니다.

그런데 현재 DSU 4장중 1장만 사용을 했고, 3개는 Available인 상태인데요,

현재 제가 2017년 2월 (다이아 종료일) 이후에 숙박이 시작되는 예약을 잡으면, (예를 들어 2017년 5월 1일 숙박시작.)

여전히 스윗방으로 확정이 가능한것인지요? (물론 Availability가 그날 있다고 가정할때요)

 저는 이것이 가능하다고 생각했고, 단 2017년 3월이나 4월에 (저의 다이아는 끝났지만, 아직 숙박하기 이전의 기간) 예약을 변경이나 건드릴시, DSU 가 사라지는 것으로 이해하고 있었습니다. 그런데, 제 계정에서 나오는 아래의 설명 (특별히 하이라잇된 부분) 이 저를 헷갈리게 해서 이렇게 질문을 드립니다.

아래 설명중에 February 2016 (제가 빨간색으로 칠한) 부분이 February 2017이라면 이해가 가겠는데, 여러분은 어떻게 생각하시는지요?

Suite awards issued on or after March 1, 2017 must be redeemed for reservations with a checkout date prior to the expiration date of the award.

Suite awards unredeemed prior to the expiration date of the award will be forfeited. Suite awards issued prior to March 1, 2016 must be redeemed by making a reservation no later than the last day of February 2016 for future reservations. In the event one of these Suite awards are redeemed for stay dates beyond expiration date and reservation is cancelled after last day of February, the Suite award will be forfeited. Suite upgrade may not be booked at Hyatt hotels or resorts before they have opened. A complimentary suite upgrade is valid on paid nights when paying an Eligible Rate, for a maximum of 7 consecutive nights, at participating Hyatt hotels where suite accommodations are available. Suite upgrade awards must be redeemed at time of reservation. Member must call 800.400.2261 or their nearest Global Contact Center to redeem upgrade award. Suite upgrade awards are not valid at Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort, Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa, Park Hyatt Sydney, Andaz Tokyo, Hyatt Regency Kyoto, Hyatt Regency Phuket Resort, Hyatt Regency Tulsa, Hyatt Regency Wichita, Hyatt Paris Madeleine, Hyatt Herald Square, Hyatt Key West Resort and Spa, Hyatt Manila City of Dreams, Hyatt Santa Barbara, Hyatt Residence Club resorts, Hyatt Place and Hyatt House hotels and M life resorts. Guest must pay an eligible rate. For purposes of this award, a suite provides for one-bedroom accommodations. Suite upgrade awards are only valid for standard suites, defined as each participating properties introductory suite category. Suite upgrade award is not valid toward Specialty, Premier, Presidential or Diplomatic Suites. Award is not transferable, negotiable or redeemable for cash or other substitutions. Credit will not be issued for unused upgrade awards. Guest is responsible for all charges exclusive of awards. There are limited numbers of suites available at each property.
