회원가입 한참 전부터 열심히 출근도장 찍으며 많이 배우고 있습니다.

그래서 이번에 드디어 해보고 싶었던 마일소비 중 하나인 ANA RTW를 예약하게 되었는데요.

늘푸르게님, kaidou님, jxk님, 안디님 그리고 다른 여러분들이 올려주신 ANA RTW 관련된 글들을 다 읽어본 것 같아요. 

도움이 많이 되었습니다. 정말 감사합니다.

이제 제가 예약진행을 하며 알게된 작은 팁들을 말씀드릴게요. 도움이 되었으면 합니다 :)

1. 유할 계산하기

저도 처음에는 http://matrix.itasoftware.com/ 을 이용했는데요, 이게 세그먼트가 많아지면 여정을 다 넣을수가 없더라고요. 또 ANA website 에서는 round-trip은 유할계산이 가능한데 RTW는 마지막 단계에서 오류가 생기면서 유할을 볼 수가 없었습니다. 그래서 어떤 다른 방법이 없을까 생각하다가 생각해낸 곳이 star alliance rtw webpage 입니다.

이곳에 가셔서 여정 입력하시면 마지막에 fees and taxes가 breakdown 되어 나옵니다. 제 경험상 오차범위는 2-3불도 되지 않았습니다.

2. 티켓홀딩

3/21/17 기준 일본오피스/미국오피스 상담원 통화 결과 두 곳 다 이젠 어카운트에 마일없이 티켓을 홀딩하는건 불가능하다는 답변을 받았습니다. 어카운트에 마일이 있다 하더라도 홀딩은 불가하며 바로 발권진행을 하셔야합니다.

3. middle name

제가 첫 ANA 가입시에 first 와 last name 만 입력해 놓았었는데요. 발권시 상담원이 여권에 표기된 것과 동일하게 middle name도 포함되어 있어야 한다고 하네요. 이 과정은 금방 해결 되었지만 아직 가입하지 않으신 분들은 처음 가입하실 때부터 여권에 나와있는 full name 으로 가입하시는게 더 편리하실 것 같습니다.

4. baggage policy

저도 여러 airlines를 이용할 때 baggage policy가 각각 적용되는지 아닌지 헷갈렸었는데요. 찾아보니 section 399.87에 의거해서 제 경우엔 united baggage policy 가 모든 세그먼트에 적용이 됩니다. 혹시 도움이 될까해서 EVA airlies에서 명시된 예시와 policy입니다. EVA 뿐만 아니라 모든 airlines에 적용됩니다.

According to the section 399.87 requirements by U.S. Department of Transportation (US DOT), for passengers whose ultimate ticketed origin or destination is a U.S. point, U.S. and foreign carriers must apply the baggage allowances and fees at the beginning of a passenger's itinerary throughout his or her entire journey. For example, if a passenger’s itinerary is Houston-Los Angeles-Taipei, United Airlines flight from Houston to Los Angeles and connecting EVA Air flight from Los Angeles to Taipei, then United Airlines’ baggage policy should be followed, including the return itinerary Taipei -Los Angeles- Houston.

In the case of code-share flights that form part of an itinerary whose ultimate ticketed origin or destination is a U.S. point, U.S. and foreign carriers must apply the baggage allowances and fees of the marketing carrier throughout the itinerary to the extent that they differ from those of any operating carrier. For example, if a passenger’s itinerary is Houston-Los Angeles-Taipei, the 1st marketing carrier is EVA Air from Houston to Los Angeles and connecting EVA Air flight from Los Angeles to Taipei, then EVA Air’s baggage policy should be followed, including the return itinerary Taipei -Los Angeles- Houston.

So if passengers whose ultimate ticketed origin or final destination is a U.S. point, the free baggage allowance for the complete itinerary shall apply the exceptional rules governed by US DOT and determined by the first marketing carrier. The first marketing carrier has the option to use the MSC methodology to determine which carrier’s baggage allowance and fees to apply.

5. 차감마일 계산

예를 들어 도시1-도시2, 도시3-도시4 이런 여정이라면 도시 2와 도시 3 사이에 마일은 유효마일로 계산되지 않습니다. 오차범위가 아주 살짝 있지만 (제 경우엔 20마일 미만), gcmap.com 이 ANA 자체계산과 가장 가까운 차감마일이 계산되었습니다.

- 일본을 경유시 유할이 많이 뜁니다. 저는 일본에 가본 적이 없고 ana를 타보고 싶은 마음에 도쿄를 넣은 일정을 짜게 되었습니다. 일본이 들어가면 유할이 250불 정도 늘어납니다.

- 뉴욕 출발 시, FRA 행 싱가폴 에어라인을 타면 유할이 대폭 줄어들던데, 파트너 어워드는 하나도 보이질 않더라고요. 이 싱가폴 에어라인 노선을 ANA RTW에 넣는 것이 아예 불가능한건지는 잘 모르겠습니다.

다른 많은 분들의 도움을 받아 연습만 해보던 ANA RTW를 이용한 여행을 하게 되었네요. 감사합니다.
