그래도 하얏 호텔에 투숙 예정이신 분들 (특히 corporation에 다니시는 분들이면 더 좋구요)

"링크 들어가셔서 Company Email에다가 회사 이메일 주소 넣어 보면 다니고 계신 회사가 eligible한지 아닌지 알 수 있어요. 그냥 abcde@whatever.domain 하시면 돼요.
가령 IT회사 중에는 @apple.com, @microsoft.com, @cisco.com은 되는데, @google.com이나 @intel.com은 안 되고요. 컨설팅펌 대부분은 되네요. @mckinsey.com, @bain.com, @deloitte.com, @pwc.com 등등. 한국 회사들은 웬만하면 안 되는 것 같네요. @samsung.com, @lg.com, @hyundai.com 다 해봤는데ㅋㅋㅋㅋ"

이거 혹시 방 2개씩 잡거나, 혹은 같은날 다른 호텔 각각 방 잡아도 퀄리파이 나잇으로 다 안쳐주겠죠?
다른 호텔 각각은 되는걸로 알아요 근데 같은호텔 두개는 안 돼요. 부럽슴다 ㅠㅠ
Explorist Trial: Upon registration, World of Hyatt members with standard membership or Discoverist status will receive a trial upgrade to Explorist status for 90 days (“Explorist Trial Period”). The trial will provide the member with the benefits of Explorist status, as set forth in the World of Hyatt program terms, provided that the member will not be eligible to tier match into Gold status with M life Rewards, the loyalty program of MGM Resorts International, as part of the trial. To maintain Explorist status through February 2021, member must complete at lest ten (10) Tier-Qualifying Nights (as defined in the World of Hyatt program terms) at any participating Hyatt hotel or resort worldwide during his or her Explorist Trial Period. If member completes at least twenty (20) Tier-Qualifying Nights at any participating Hyatt hotel or resort worldwide during his or her Explorist Trial Period, member will receive Globalist status through February 2021. If member earns a new elite status through this offer, his/her new status will be applied within 7 business days of checkout of the stay during which (s)he completes the applicable requirement.
Globalist Quick-Qualify for Current Explorists: Upon registration, World of Hyatt members with Explorist status will have the opportunity to earn Globalist status through February 2021 by completing at least twenty (20) Tier-Qualifying Nights at any participating Hyatt hotel or resort worldwide within 90 days of registration. (This 90-day period is referred to as the member’s “Qualification Period.”) If member satisfies the above requirements during the Qualification Period, they will receive Globalist membership valid through February 2021. The offer will provide the member with the benefits of Globalist membership, provided that the member will not be eligible to tier match into Platinum status with M life Rewards, the loyalty program of MGM Resorts International, as part of the trial. His/her new status will be applied within 7 business days of checkout of the stay during which (s)he completes the offer requirements.

이게 Discoverist -> Explorist 면 90일동안 Explorist Trial을 주는데 Explorist -> Globalist면 90일동안 Globalist Trial 안주고 20일 체워야지만 Globalist를 주는걸로 이해했는데... 맞을까요?
네, 90일 Trial은 Explorist 만요
매리엇 프로퍼티들이 점점 지루해져서 하얏에 기웃거리던 찰나에 이번 프로모 신청해서 글로벌리스트 티어 잘 받았습니다.
예정 숙박이 있어 이 내용 바탕으로 호텔에 문의 이메일 보내니 Sales 담당에게 연결해주어 잘 처리해 주었고요.
회사/연 숙박일/신청 이유 간략히 묻고서 20일 숙박 조건 없이 바로 Globalist 달아준 걸 보니 담당자 재량도 있는 것 같습니다.
아마도 타겟 회사에 근무 중 + 이미 익스플로리스트 (TR->Mlife 골드) + 매리엇 플랫에서 전환 고려 중인 사항들이 영향을 끼친 것 같습니다.
물론 제가 아주 운이 좋았던 케이스로 여겨지지만, 밑져야 본전이니 숙박 예정인 호텔에 문의해 보는 것도 나쁘지 않을 것 같습니다.
(다만 신용카드 있으면 35박만 하면 되는 매리엇 플랫과 달리 하얏 글로벌리스트 60박은 많이 힘들어 보이긴 합니다 - 행복한 고민이지만 ㅠ)

운좋게 글로벌리스트 달성으로 이제 행복한 고민 시작인데요.
글로벌리스트가 매리엇 플랫보다 좋아보이긴 하나 35박 vs 60박 차이가 크네요.
프로퍼티는 하얏이 더 마음에 드는데 역시 coverage 차이도 크고, 4인 가족여건상 주로 플레이스/하우스/리젠시만 갈 것 같고요.
다만 또 ur 전환으로 포인트 공급이 용이한 건 하얏의 장점이고요.
티어가 있어서 좋은데 둘 다 유지는 불가능해보여 고민입니다.
플레이스/하우스/리젠시만 간다면 솔직히 글로벌리스트의 효용가치는 매우 낮습니다.
플레이스/하우스에서는 글로벌리스트의 의미가 거의 없습니다. 리젠시에서나마 좀 있고요.
그런 경우면 솔직히 호텔 티어에 목맬거 없이 버짓에 맞는 곳을 가는게 낫습니다.

오늘 무심결에 하얏 앱 들어가보니 프로모로 받은 글로벌리스트가 2020년 2월이 아닌 2021년 2월까지네요 >_<
그럼 일단 올해는 업글 혜택이 큰 경우 빼고는 매리엇으로 숙박 몰아서 플랫 1년 더 연장하는 방법으로 가야겠습니다..
이런 부분은 역시 처음부터 디테일을 챙겼어야 하는데, 그나마 지금이라도 알게 되서 다행입니다 ㅎ
