Effective December 9, 2021, USCIS is temporarily waiving the requirement that the civil surgeon sign the Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination Record (Form I-693) no more than 60 days before the date the applicant files an Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status (Form I-485). It is still in the best interest of applicants to undergo the immigration medical examination close to the time of filing the Form I-485, as the Form I-693 only retains its evidentiary value for 2 years from the date of the civil surgeon’s signature. After the 2-year timeframe, the applicant would need to submit a new Form I-693 if USCIS has not adjudicated the Form I-485. This temporary waiver is effective until September 30, 2022.

2021년 12월 9일자로 발표된 내용인데, 저처럼 혹시 모르시던 분이 계실까 싶어 공유합니다.
개인적으로는 착오로 인해 저 유효기간 때문에 medical exam을 다시 받아야하는 상황이었는데 waiver 조치 덕분에 800불 날리지 않게 되어 대단히 다행스럽게 생각하고 있습니다.이거 몰랐으면 다시 medical exam 예약할 뻔 했네요...
I-693 60일 규정이 없어지나봅니다. 다시 검사받아야 할 상황이었는데 돈 굳었네요!
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is removing the requirement that civil surgeons must sign Form I-693, Report of Immigration Medical Examination and Vaccination Record, no more than 60 days before an individual applies for an underlying immigration benefit (including Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status). The requirement had been subject to a temporary waiver since Dec. 9, 2021.
We still encourage you to undergo the immigration medical examination close to the time you file your Form I-485, because your Form I-693 is only valid for 2 years from the date of the civil surgeon’s signature. After the 2-year time frame, you must submit a new Form I-693 if we have not adjudicated your Form I-485.
오! 좋은 소식 업데이트 감사합니다. 사실 그동안 485랑 같이낼때는 60일 따지면서 같이 안낼때는 60일 규정 신경 안쓰는게 앞뒤가 안맞는다고 생각했는데, 이게 이제야 고쳐지네요. 485랑 693을 같이 내도록 독려하는것도 맞게 바뀐 것 같구요.
