건강보험, 기타 선택 어떤거 하세요?

기다림입니다.


어제 오늘 출근해서 오피스 배정받고 여러사람들과 인사도 나누고 회사도 둘러보고 했어요.

HR하고 이것 저것 (W-4, Direct deposit, 핸드폰, 기타 서류 등등) 사인하고 했는데 특별히 보험이나 그런것 선택이 쉽지 않네요.


아래 저희 회사 보험인데 어떻게 좋을까요? 저는 딸 둘이고 4인가족이에요.

크게 HRA와 HSA Plan 1그리고 HSA Plan2가 있네요.

HRA

An HRA is an employer-funded

arrangement that reimburses

employees for the eligible medical

expenses of the employee and his

dependents.

HSA1

An HSA is a tax-exempt account

that can be used to pay for

eligible medical expenses of the

employee and his or her eligible tax

dependents.

HSA2

An HSA is a tax-exempt account

that can be used to pay for

eligible medical expenses of the

employee and his or her eligible tax

dependents.

Funding

HRA

Your employer funds the HRA up to

a set dollar amount. The money is

not taxed. You are not allowed to

contribute to the HRA.

HSA1

Your employer funds a set dollar

amount to the HSA. You can also

contribute pre-tax dollars to your

HSA to help pay for eligible medical

expenses.

HSA2

You may fund the HSA if you wish,

to help you pay for your health plan

deductible and/or other qualified

health care expenses. An HSA may

be set up through payroll deduction

or at a financial institution of your

choice.

위에 것처럼 차이가 나는데 뭔지 잘모르겠어요.

일다은 HRA는 Reimburse해주는것 같은데 이게 Deductable될때까지는 본인이 내다가 디턱터블 넘어서면 그때부터 해준다는것인지 그전에도 해준다는 것인지 잘 모르겟어요?


HSA는 medical용 Saving 어카운트를 열어서 거기에 돈을 Pre-tax 혹은 after-tax로 넣을수 있다는데 우선 after tax가 좋은건지 Pre-tax로 넣는게 좋은지 잘 모르겟어요?

아이가 있으니 병원에 일년에 한번은 적어도 갈텐데 어는정도 해야할지도 모르겠고? 회사가 매칭으로 얼마나 넣어준다는 건가요? 멕스는 아이딸린 집은 무조건 800까지 해준다는 건지 내가 얼마를 넣어야 그것에 따라 매칭을 해준다는 것인지 모르겠네요?


아무튼 HAS1는 860불인가 했던것 같고 HAS2는 약 360불정도 했던것 같고 HRA는 가격이 1600불정도 했던것 같아요? 이것도 비싼게 좋은건가요?


한국분이 한분이라도 있으면 좀 붙잡고 물어볼텐데, HR직원이 뭐 가정마다 다 상황이 다르니 뭐 하나를 꼭 집어서 추천해 주지는 않터군요. 그리고 제가 생각해도 옛날에 보험회사 직원이 와서 일년에 한번씩 거이 반나절을 설명해 주던거라 이것 좀 귀찮은것도 있을것 같구요.


그 외에도 아이들 Day care도 5000불 Max로 따로 어카운트 만들어서 세금공제하고 아이들 학비로 지원해 주는것 같은데 이게 Private스쿨같은데 보낼때도 되는건지도 궁금하구요? 피아노나 사설학원은 않되도 사립학교는 되겠죠?


이외에도 선택할게 많더군요. 아무튼 신참이지만 열심히 하려고 노력중입니다.

회사가 그래도 규모가 있어서인지 하루 하루 돌아가면서 설명해 주고 교육도 시켜주니 감사하죠.
