이 글의 발단은 몇달전에 있었던 Frontier Airlines IAD 취항 $30 왕복 항공권 행사였습니다. 

일단 라스베가스 왕복 티켓을 샀는데, 저가항공으로 거듭나려는 Frontier의 Fee 정책들에 표값보다 더 많은 돈이 들게 생겼더라구요. 

동반자님께서 가방 보내는거에 돈드는걸 싫어하시는지라 애로사항이 꽃피려는 순간 생각난게 Status Match였습니다.  

제가 가지고 있는 비루한 모닝캄이나 아시아나골드를 이용해서 가방 값을 아낄수 있을지 알아보니.

미국 항공사들만 되는것처럼 보이더라구요. 그래도 혹시나 해서 대한항공 아시아나항공 카드와 함께 매치해달라는 메일을 statusmatch@flyfrontier.com로 보냈습니다.

Congratulations on being accepted into our Status Match program! Your account has been upgraded to Ascent status!

We would like the opportunity to be your airline of choice for your future travel needs. Therefore, we will allow you to achieve Ascent status by flying a total of four one-way* trips on Frontier Airlines in the next two months. We will track your flight activity for 60 days from today's date. If you take four one-way* trips, you will be granted Ascent status through February 19, 2015. During the two-month qualifying time frame, your status has been updated to Ascent in order to allow you to take advantage of the elite benefits as you are traveling.  If you have not flown the required one-way trips at the end of the qualifying time frame, your status will be removed.  Please note that you are only eligible for this offer once every 5 years.

As you may know, Ascent status in our program is usually achieved by flying a minimum of 15,000 flight miles or 20 flight segments in a calendar year.
