이번 케이스는 저도 좀 흥미로웠는데요 :  호텔 vs. 글로벌 브랜드 로열티 프로그램 

그 신종 바이러스 Certificate 이 뭔가 알아봤더니, Marriott Reward Help Desk 에서는 JW Marriott Cairo 에서 제가 아주아주 예전에 한 stay 에 대해 (point redemption - 이거 account activity 기록으로 남아있음) 제 카테고리 1-4 숙박권 두 장 (체이즈 블루 메리엇 카드에서 받은 것)을 최근에 가져갔다고 하면서 (컥 !!!! 모라모라모라? - -+), 이게 에러로 밝혀지면서 그걸 결국 accounting office 에서 재발급 하면서 일어난 해프닝이라고 합니다.  제가 동의한 적도 없는데 제 어카운트에서 "아무 노티스 없이" 그냥 숙박권 확~ 이렇게 빼가도 되냐고 항의하면서 compensation 요구했더니, 미안하다며 compensation 은 호텔 측 잘못이기 때문에 그쪽으로 메시지 보내겠다 합니다. 

근데 제가 예전에도 만난 그 GM 아저씨 보고 받고 기분이 안 좋으셨는지 무려 4군데다 cc 하시면서, 그건 우리네 소관이 아니고 니네 Marriott Reward Help Desk 잘못이야 하고 답장 옵니다 (아래 참고). 헉... 

그러더니 리츠 칼튼 리워드 데스크에서는 그거 호텔 Error 라고 또 빡빡 우기는 메시지 보냅니다 (아래 참고). 헉... 

이런 메일이 수차례 왔다리갔다리 합니다.  전 중간에 CC 로 끼여서 왔다리갔다리 내용을 다 봅니다.  전  걍 셧업하고 가만히 있습니다.  - -;; 

근데 호텔 vs. 호텔 loyalty program CSR 싸움에서 후자가 좀 갑인감요?  GM 아저씨, 결국엔 자기네가 뽀인트를 토해내겠다 합니다 (아래 참고). 흠... 

기분이 별로 안 좋으신지 Cat 2 이니까 One Free Night 이면 10,000 뽀인트 주셔야 하는데, 올해 말까지 Point Saver 로 7500 이기 때문인지, 딸랑 7500 넣어줍니다 (- -;;)

그래도 전 마지막에 I do appreciate your kind gesture 하고 걍 셧업합니다.  

이제 가면 100미터 전방에서 GM 아저씨 발견하면 피해다녀야겠습니다.  - -;;

I apologize for any confusion.

It appears the two 79B free night certificates issued on October 28, 2014 were cancelled later the same day.  The representative issuing those certificates did not realize we had already issued the correct replacement certificates on October 24, 2014, from the two free nights that had been redeemed in error by the JW Marriott Hotel Cairo.

 

In order to retain you as a loyal customer to our hotel, we have opted to add to your Marriott Rewards account the equivalent to one night in our hotel in points which should reflect on your account in the coming few days.

 

We hope that our action will meet your satisfaction. Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused.

  보다가 허걱, 허걱.....    오늘 날짜로 뙇! 찍힌 79B Global Promotion Replacement....  두장 (12개월 유효). 이거 먼가요 ???  @.@...!!   뭘 Replacement 한다는 건지... ;;; 

  흠.. 처음에는 2014 SPRING MEGABONUS FREE NIGHT CERTIFICATE CAT 1-5 두장 이게 이름이 갑자기 바뀐건가 했는데, 그건 따로 있는 걸 보니 이것도 아니고, 당췌 감이 안 오네요.

   이런 프로모션은 기억에 없는데... - -
