Ink Bold를 만들어서 마모님이 알려 주신 Office Depot 비법을 사용하려 했는데....   아니 이런! 제 지역에는 Office Depot가 없다는 사실!!  제일 가까운 곳이 2.5시간 운전 거리입니다....

 

Vanila 카드 꼼수는 쓸 수 없으니까 꿩대신 닭이라고, 기타 오피스 제품이라도 필요하면 구입하고, 일반 기프트 카드도 어찌어찌 가능한대로 사용하려고 합니다.

 

그런데 오늘 아이들이 저희들끼리 Back-to-School 준비한다고 몇가지 산다고 하면서 웹을 뒤지다가 나온 것이 이 OfficeMax 딜입니다.

제가 지나가다 다 고르면 이야기해라(Ink Bold로 계산하려구요) 하다가 보니까, 이게 웬떡이냐 싶은 겁니다.

 

OfficeMax에 멥버쉽 프로그램이 MaxPerks인데, 위의 제품을 구입하면 거의 대부분을 리워드퍽스로 1달 뒤쯤에 다시 넣어 준다는 겁니다. 예를 들어 $119.99짜리 duffel back을 8월4일까지 구입하면 9월달에 리워드로 $119.98을 돌려 준다는 거지요.  이 경우 세금은 $10정도 내야 하지만, $50이상 shipping은 무료니까, 상당히 괜찮은 딜 같습니다. OfficeMax 리워드는 몇번 받아봐서 사용해 보기는 했는데, 이런 경우는 처음이네요. (일종의 rebate 프로그램입니다) 기대하는 것은 혹시 이 리워드를 나중에 OfficeMax에서 Gift Card로 바꿀 수 있는지 궁금합니다.(되면 정말 좋겠지만, 아니라도 충분히 좋은 것 같기는 합니다만)

물론 OfficeMax는 UR mall 통해서 가면 x3밖에 안되서 Office Depot에 비해서는 턱없이 작지만 이 경우는 전혀 다른 케이스입니다.
