12/17부터 Covid-19 pre-travel test 없이 하와이 도착시, 의무적으로 받아야하는 자가격리 기간이 14일에서 10일로 단축 되었습니다.
(*현재 Covid-19 pre-travel test 프로그램에 참여하지 않는 Kauai 섬은 도착과 함께 무조건 10일 자가격리를 해야합니다.)

하와이 재오픈이 일주일가량 남은 상황에
빅아일랜드는 10월15일부터 하와이 도착시간 기준 72시간내 Covid19 음성결과시 자가격리 면제 프로그램에 참여하지 않겠다고 발표했고 (@taeyang74님의 소식) 마우이와 카우아이 섬도 곧 뒤따를거라고 합니다.
현재까지는 오아후 섬만이 코비드 테스트 음성 결과시 자가격리 면제가 가능하니 이 점 유의하시고 여행 계획 세우시길 바랍니다.

Today United has announced that customers will be able to take a rapid test at the airport or a self collected mail in test ahead of their trip. There will be two tests offered:
Rapid Abbott ID NOW COVID-19 test – administered by GoHealth Urgent Care. This is the in airport test and provides results within 15 minutes.
Mail-in test option will be administered by Color. Customers are advised to initiate testing at least 10 days prior to their trip and provide the sample within 72 hours.

Hawaiian Airlines’ drive-through COVID-19 testing
하와이언 항공에서는 drive thru 테스트를 준비 중이라고 하네요~
Hawaiian Airlines is partnering with Worksite Labs to give customers access to drive-through PCR testing. It’s expected that these droplet digital PCR shallow nasal swab tests will start to be offered around October 15.
Initially Hawaiian Airlines’ partner labs will be available near Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and San Francisco International Airport (SFO), but the plan is for more testing locations to come soon at other mainland gateways.
You can pay $90 for a test that gets a result within 36 hours
You can pay $150 for a test on the same day of travel, with express results

10월15일부터 하와이 도착시간 기준 72시간내 Covid19 음성결과시 자가격리 면제 확정 발표가 있었습니다. @wjdfurdhkd 감사합니다.
다만 covid19 테스트 음성 결과 없이 방문 할 경우에는 음성 결과가 나올때까지 자가격리를 해야한다고 합니다.
즉, 하와이에서는 테스트를 받을 수 없기 때문에 반드시 미국 본토에서 테스트를 받으시고 음성 결과가 나온 72시간 안에 하와이에 도착하셔야 할거 같습니다.

Hawaii governor David Ige has announced that starting October 15 travelers will be able to skip the mandatory 14 day quarantine period as long as they have a negative pre travel COVID test that is no more than 72 hours old. CVS and Kaiser Permanente have signed on to be part of this pre travel testing program but other partners will be added in the coming weeks as well. If travellers do not get their results before their arrival to Hawaii they will have to remain in quarantine until those results arrive. No tests will be provided at the airport and it’s also unclear if the testing partners are providing any gaurantees that the tests will be completed in time.

하와이 방문시 2주간 자가격리 의무화를 8/31/2020 까지 연장한다고 발표했습니다.
그리고 8/1부터 COVID-19 테스트 음성결과를 받아야만 방문 허용을 시행하려던 계획을 연기한다고 합니다.
8/31 전까지 또 어떻게 변할지 모르기 때문에 그 전까지 하와이 여행을 계획하기는 무리가 있어 보이네요 ㅠ

하와이가 8/1 부터 re-open 할 예정이지만 미국 mainland에 코로나 바이러스 확진자가 급증함에 따라 방문 조건이 더 까다로워 졌습니다...

14일 자가격리 의무가 풀어지는 8/1 이후에도 하와이 방문 전 72시간 이내에 COVID-19 테스트 결과 음성이라는 결과를 받아야만 entry가 가능하다고 합니다.
도착해서 테스트를 받는 옵션은 없다고 합니다.
사실 본토에서 테스트를 받아 결과 통지서를 들고 하와이 여행 시간에 맞춰 제출하고 하려면 타이밍 상으로도 굉장히 번거롭고 어려울거 같네요.
As of August 1, 2020, travelers who test negative for coronavirus less than 72 hours before travel to Hawaii will be able to avoid the state’s mandatory quarantine. This will apply to both residents and visitors.

Hawaii’s mandatory 14-day self quarantine for arrivals was supposed to expire on June 30, 2020, but has now been extended through July 31, 2020.

하와이 거주자, 방문자 모두 도착 후 집이나 호텔 등 거주지에서 2주간의 자가격리 의무화 시켰다고 합니다.
이를 어길시에는 Violators will face a year in prison and/or a $5,000 fine.

코로나 유입과 확산 방지 조치로
하와이에서도 앞으로 30일간 모든 여행객들의 (미국 본토를 포함) 하와이 방문 자제를 권장한다는 주지사의 발표가 있었네요.
항구와 공항, 방문객 검진을 한층 더 강화
inter-lsland 을 포함해 주 안의 불필요한 여행을 금지,
15일간 모든 activities들을 셧다운,
코로나 발생 지역을 방문했던 사람들은 14일간 자가격리,
술집, 클럽 셧다운과 함께 식당은 투고나 배달업체를 통해서만 이용.
봄 방학에 하와이 방문 계획하신 분들은 더 늦기전에 다시 계획을 세우시는게 좋겠습니다.

오늘 최종적으로 취소 결정 내렸습니다.
미련이 남아 지금까지 예약은 유지 했는데... 아무래도 지금 코비드 확진자가 걷잡을 수 없이 늘어나는 시기에 휴양을 간다는게. 평일도 아니고, 아마도 유동인구가 제일 많을 24-28일 연휴에 어린 아이 둘을 끼고 움직인다는게 내키지가 않네요.
몇일 전 MCO-LAX 구간 UA 비행기에서 확진자가 본인의 확진여부를 알고도 탑승, 비행 중 사망하는 사건 보도를 보고 마음을 완전히 접었습니다. P2도 그 기사를 보고 캔슬을 종용하는데, 비벼볼 건덕지가 없더라구요. ㅠㅠ
에휴 ㅠㅠ physi님.. 제가 다 아쉽습니다. 그래도 가족의 건강이 우선이니 최선의 선택을 하신거라 생각합니다. 다음번에 더 좋은 환경에서 더 좋은 추억을 쌓을 수 있으실거에요!
