가족 (어른 2 아이2)이 6월 초에 한국 가는 티켓을 Cheapoair (에어 캐나다 이용- 아틀란타-토론토-인천)에서 구매하였습니다. 가격이 너무 좋아서 third party에서 샀는데 지금 상황이 너무 복잡해서 몇일 고민하다가 염치 불구하고 마모님들의 의견과 도움을 얻고 싶어서 글을 포스팅하게 되었습니다.

 

지난주에 비행기가 스케줄이 취소됐었다는 email과 아래 조건을 받았습니다.

 

마모님들이 보시기엔 어떤 옵션이 좋을까요?

 

1. Futur credit- 연세가 많으신 아버지가 손자들을 너무 보고 싶어서 6월만 기다리고 계셨는데 실망이 너무 크신 것 같아요. 그래서 에어 캐나다 website에 밴쿠버를 거쳐서 가는 방법이 있는 걸 알았습니다 (32시간). 

 

2. Refund- 리펀을 해서 새롭게 티케팅하는 게 좋을까요. 근데 이게 좀 복잡한데요. 제가 궁금한 점이 만약에 티켓을 취소하면 저희 4식구가 $1000불의 페널티를 물어야 하는가 입니다. our standard post ticketing fees by 30%라는 말이 $1000불에서 30% 할인이 돼서 $700만 charge 하는 건가요? 자세한 내용은 아래 표에 있습니다.

 

3. Exchange - Change the dates and/or destination of your flight for future travel – an agent will contact you from this number (646)738-4849 (please do not screen calls from this number Subject to any applicable service fees and fare difference upon rebooking your travel.

Fees

• Original CheapOair service fees and non-airline ancillaries for your bookings are non-refundable.
• Waived cancellation fees: Our standard post ticketing fees are detailed here. However, for all travel to and from countries identified by Presidential Proclamation 9984, to and from the U.S., our cancellation fees will be waived. Those countries include: The People's Republic of China, Iran, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom and Ireland. 한국이 여기에 포함되지 않아서 candellation Fee는 웨이브가 되지 않을 것 같습니다.

 

• Discounted fees: For all other countries we are reducing our standard post ticketing fees by 30%. If you opt for Future Credit, your cancellation fee will be $35 per ticket per passenger; if you opt for and are eligible for a Refund, the fee will be $70 per ticket per passenger.
