항공편 도착 후 3일 이내에 클레임을 접수하면 2500 델타 스카이마일을 보상해주는 내용인데요.

 

아예 분실되거나 오랜 기간 못 받는 짐은 항공사나 여행자보험으로 보상을 받곤 하지만, 이렇게 짧게(?) 지연되는 수하물도 보상해주는 곳은 델타 뿐인 거 같아요. 델타 자주 이용한다는 어떤 분 왈, "탑승으로 모은 것보다 이 제도로 받은 마일이 더 쏠쏠한 것 같다"는 코멘트도 볼 수 있었습니다. 생각해보면, 20분 정도 타임라인이면.. 입국 심사받는 시간동안(미국 국내선 탑승 구간만 해당된다고 합니다) 나도 모르게 Bags On Time의 보상 범위에 들어갈 것 같기도 하네요.

That's why we're backing your bags with a guarantee: if your checked bag doesn't arrive at the carousel in 20 minutes or less after any domestic flight, you are eligible to receive 2,500 bonus miles. TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

Eligibility: 20-minute Bag-to-Claim Guarantee bonus-mile offer valid on all domestic flights within the U.S. 50 and Puerto Rico, marketed and operated by Delta Air Lines and Delta Connection® carriers. Itineraries that include codeshare flights are eligible as long as the final leg is marketed and operated by Delta Air Lines or a Delta Connection carrier. Customers must be a SkyMiles member in good standing at the time of travel and award of bonus miles to be eligible. SkyMiles number must be included on the reservation to be eligible. A request must be submitted via delta.com/bagsontime within three days of completion of the flight on which the baggage delay was experienced. Limit one request per passenger per outbound or return travel regardless of number of checked bags; requests for multiple trips must be submitted separately. Time to baggage claim will be as measured by Delta's baggage tracking system, where available. The time to baggage claim will be defined as time elapsed between aircraft door open and delivery of the bag to the baggage claim belt. Oversize and overweight baggage and special items are not eligible.

 

Offer: Earn a one-time, 2,500-mile bonus per baggage delay occurrence. Bonus miles do not count toward Medallion® qualification or Million Miler™ status.

 

Promotional Fulfillment: Bonus miles will appear on member's SkyMiles statement. Allow up to two weeks after request for credit to appear.

 

Miscellaneous: Offer only valid on paid tickets for published fares; not valid for those traveling on employee pass privileges or employees of other airlines traveling on industry discounted tickets. Delta Air Lines reserves the right to suspend this baggage service guarantee at any time and without prior notice in the event of an airport baggage system malfunction, severe weather, or other conditions out of Delta's control that would prevent timely baggage delivery.
