여전히 찜찜하지만 (아시아나에도 확정이라고 뜨고 좌석배정도 마친 상태), 공식 이메일로 가짜가 아니라는 확인을 받았으니 여권카피를 보내려구요. 혹 다음에 비슷한 경험을 하시는 분께 도움이 될까해서 올려요.
안녕하세요? 지난주에 게시판에서 도움을 얻어 씨티 카드의 땡큐 포인트를 에띠하드로 옮긴 후 (8일 소요) 인천-엘에이간 아시아나 비즈니스석을 118000마일로 끊고, 아시아나에 전화해서 좌석 배정까지 마친 상태예요. 제 마일리지로 친정 엄마 표를 끊었구요.
그런데 오늘 에띠하드에서 이메일이 왔네요. 여권 정보까지는 이해가 가는 데, 여권 카피에 유틸러티 빌, 그리고 nationality id proof (이건 뭘 보내야할 지 감도 안 잡힙니다)까지 보내라니... 원래 이런가요? 친정엄마는 한국에 거주하시는 데 그럼 한국 집의 유틸러티 빌 카피를 보내야 하는 건가요??
그동안 게시판에서 삼자발권했다고 이런 걸 보내셨다는 글은 못 읽어본 것 같은데 경험있으신 분 조언 부탁드려요.

전화 한 번 해보시죠. 에티하드의 경우도 이제 본격적으로 사람들이 이용하기 시작하면서 마일 판매가 아닌 제대로된 마일 발권인지 확인하려는 방안을 강구하는 것으로 보입니다.
HI Milemoa nim. I called TWICE already but neither of the agents seemed to know whether it is legit or not. The first one took a while to understand what I was reading from the email, asked me to forward the email to her (etihad) email account, which did not go through, and she just hung up on me. --; The second agent could not verify if it is from Etihad, but told me to go ahead and send the requested information anyway. Before I do anything I wanted to check and see if anyone else had similar experience before (because I do not remember reading about this before), though.
Maybe I should call again?
앗, 저도 지금 같은 요구를 받아서 검색해보다 이 글을 찾았습니다. 혹시 utility bill과 national ID proof는 한국어로 된 자료를 보내셨는지요? 그리고 결과는 잘 되셨는지 여쭤보려고 오래된 글 다시 불러봅니다~
그냥 여권만 스캔해서 보냈던 것 같아요. Utility bill은 따로 보내지 않았구요.
아랍 항공사들이 종종 그런 요구를 하는거 같습니다. 저는 전에 카타르 그냥 돈주고 탔는데,
신용카드 사본이었나.., 여권사본, 그리고 독특한것이(이것만 확실히 기억납니다) 신용카드 내역? 지난한두달이었나 statement 를 보내줬었습니다..
공항에서 체크인 할때도 신용카드 달라고 하고 복사하고 사인하고...했었던 기억이 납니다..-_-;; 짐작가기로는 amex라서? 내가 사기치는걸까봐?
그런게 아닌가 라는...
일년전쯤에 한국신터를 통해서 삼자발권했는데 몇번씩 마일판매는 아닌지 진짜 가족이 맞는지 묻더라구요. 물론 다른 서류를 요그하지는 않았습니다만 확인을 강화하는 쪽으로 가는것 같습니다. 해당서류를 가능한 보내면 문제없지 싶은데요. 판매라면 이런 서류들중 하나라도 보낼수 없으니까요.
