Dear Customer Service.

Good Morning. I applied for SPG-Amex card on June and I am truly enjoying my card except the following.

When I applied for this attractive card, only benefit is 10,000 starpoints for the first purchase and additional 15,000 starpoints if I use more than $15,000 during the first 6 months and

But recently, I saw on a internet that a new promotion came out: 10,000 starpoints for the first purchase and 20,000 starpoints if I use $4500 in first 3 months via referral.

I gave up the promotion because I don't usually spend at such rate. But I can use $4,500 in 3 months. Moreover, it is very easy to get referral using internet or my friends. As a result, I feel like I lost one of huge benefit because I applied one month earlier. 

Would you kindly consider what you can do? If you can do something, SPG-Amex will be my favorite card all time.

Unfortunately, the Starwood Preferred Guest offer indicated in your email is not available to unsolicited Cardholder's. 

 I am sorry I am unable to change the terms of your Starwood Preferred Guest Card ending in ----. 

However if you received, a separate offer for up to 30,000 Starpoints please fax this information to ---, attention---. Please include case number. I can then forward this offer to the Starwood Preferred Guest department so that they may review this matter for you further.

Thank you for the fax you provided. The offer you forwarded to earn 20,000 bonus Starpoints for spending $4,500 in 3 months on the Card, is for first-time Starwood Preferred Guest Credit Cardmembers only. 

I have opened an inquiry regarding the bonus Starpoints. This will be researched by our Starwood Preferred Guest Customer Service department, and you will be contacted in 7-10 business days with the outcome. 

- A confirmation of the inquiry will be sent to you and we will contact you if further information is needed. 

- When the inquiry is complete, we will notify you in writing of the outcome. .

Last time, the offer I send you is referred by my friend. 

If Amex cannot match the last promotion based on the last offer I received via referral, I want to mention this promotion additionally.
