뭔가 조금 아찔하고 이상한 DP 인데요

레딧의 어떤 유저가 PRG 5만 사인업 보너스를 받은후 PRG카드가 아골로 변경되었는데..

'product downgrade' 관련 이유로 5만 사인업 포인트를 모두 몰수 당했다고 합니다.

 

그런데 이 사람은 다운 그레이드를 한적도 없고 그저 PRG가 아골 카드로 변경 된거 뿐인데 이렇게 되었다네요.

reward department 상담원dl 확인 한후 다시 포인트를 one-time exception 으로 넣어준다고는 했는데 개런티는 못해준다고 했답니다.

 

이게 단순히 아멕스 시스템상의 오류인지.. 정말 어떤 activity가 있었는지... 알 수는 없지만

혹시 저희 계정에도 이런일이 일어날지 모르겠다 싶어서 소식 전합니다.

"I received this email from Amex on Thursday.

When I checked my account, they had taken the 50k points I received from the PRG.

I called them, and they told me the notes said it was because of a 'product downgrade'.

The rep said they were going to create a ticket for me because the notes didn't make sense since I didn't downgrade any of my cards.

 

I received a call today from the rewards department, and they told me the points were taken because the PRG was changed to the Gold card.

She said she sent a request to make a one-time exception and put the points back but that she couldn't guarantee I would get them even though Amex automatically converted people from the PRG to the new Gold car..."
