저희 집주소 옮긴지가 백만년전 BM 시절이라서요 딱히 정확한 정보가 없었는데요,

오늘 주말이라 조용한 레딧처닝그룹에 논의가 좀 있어서 혹시나 도움되실까 퍼옵니다.

카드 많이 보유하시고 이사하시거나 하면 일일히 주소 바꾸기도 귀찮고요,

주소가 바뀌는 경우 카드 신청할때 주소확인이 안되어서 꼬이는 경우도 많은데요,

기본적으로 USPS에 change of address 신청을 하면 National Change of Address database에 업뎃이 되어 이 서비스에 subscribe하는 대부분의 카드사/뱅크들에도 고객에게 별도의 통지 없이 자동적으로 주소가 업뎃 된다고 합니다.

카드사마다 이게 업뎃되는 속도가 많이 다르고 해서 급하신 경우는 몇군데 직접 전화하셔서 업뎃하시는게 낫다고도 하고요.

There's a NCOA (National Change of Address) database that many large vendors subscribe to. So when you change your address with the USPS, those vendors get automatically notified of the change through that service, without you having to contact them.

That being said, some are very slow to respond to that update, and not everyone subscribes to that service, so for 'important' things its best to update directly. But you'll be suprised how much stuff will just automatically update.
