택스리턴 서비스 회사- 이거 스캠 아닐까요?

 

올 해도 어김없이 택스 리턴을 위해서 꾸역꾸역 맞는지 틀리는지 확신없는 데이터를 입력하다가 우연히 지인에게 들은 정보(?)입니다. 하지만 회계&경제 문외한인 공돌이로서 그 유용성과 신뢰성을 확인할 길 없어 글을 올립니다. 따라서 저는 이 회사와는 관계가 없음을 우선 밝힙니다.

 

Castro & Co. 라고 하는 오스트레일리아 기반의 회사인 듯하고 스스로를 "International Tax Lawyers Serving Those Around the Globe" 라고 소개하고 있습니다.

택스 리턴에 필요한 자료를 SmartVault 곳 (highly encrypted document-sharing platform 이라고 하네요)에 업로드 하면 택스 리턴 관련 결과 및 수수료를 분석해서 무료로 보내주고 만족하면 수수료를 내고 파일링할 수 있다고 합니다. 수수료를 내고 진행할지 여부는 결과를 받아보고 결정하면 된다고하고 federal audit 이 있는 경우 대응 하는 것 까지 무료로 대신해 주겠다가 합니다 (실제로 얼마나 도움이 될지는…?).
