"Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain severed their ties with Qatar on Monday, accusing it of supporting terrorist groups. The Gulf countries began withdrawing their diplomats, ordered Qatar’s to leave, and gave their citizens in Qatar and Qataris in their territory 14 days to leave. The countries also cut off land, sea, and air routes to Qatar, and UAE, Saudi, and Qatari airlines began suspending flights between their countries. Qatar was also expelled from the Saudi-led coalition fighting in Yemen. Yemen and Libya's eastern-based government later severed their ties with Qatar. Qatar criticized the moves as a “violation of its sovereignty” and said there was “no legitimate justification” for the countries’ decision."

아시는 분도 있겠지만, Qatar vs. the Gulf (& 싸우디 흉님 따가리 이집트) 갈등이 최근 굉장히 심화되었는데요.

특히 싸우디가 골이 많이 나서, Qatar 로선 최근에 "성의"를 좀 보이기도 했는데 (예를 들어, Saudi rights activist deported from Qatar) ... 사우디 흉님을 중심으로 걍 이번 기회에, “카따리 넘들에게 왕따(…)의 따끔한 맛을 보여주마……“ (무서븐 왕따의 정치학?! -__-) 라고 아주 작정을 했는지, 하튼 사우디, UAE, 바흐레인이 신문면에서 Qatar 를 은근, 심하게 일명 까대기 시작하드라구요? (카따리는 how to behave  알아야 한다는 둥) 카따리 옵빠들도 한 자존심 하는 분들인데.... 결국 이렇게, 어흑.

위의 상황과 좀 별개로 최근 이집트내 상황도 그닥 알흠답진 않았는데,

- 씨씨 아저씨가 논란이 심하던 draconian new NGO law 을 5.24 일 마침내 승인했고,
이게 대략 모냐면,  "The law eliminates civil society in Egypt, whether human rights or development organizations," a rights lawyer said.


-  이집트 정부가 카타르의 알자지라 및 좌파 혹은 정부 비판 성향의 주요 몇몇  news outlets (제가 문화생활로도 젤루 즐겨보던 madamasr 도… 어흑) 셧다운 (이집트 내에서 access 불가) 했고,
(근데 journalists syndicate 넘들은 official statement 하나 안 내고, 왜 꿀먹은 벙어리인지?  - - )

조만간 갑자기 서울 잠시 갔다올 것 같아서, Qatar 끊으려 했으려 했는데, 상황을 좀더 지켜봐야겠네요.

[뱀다리] 카이로의 라마단 이프타 석양

라마단 동안은 사람들의 전반적인 생활 리듬이 바뀌는데 ...

Iftar (대략 저녁 7시) 기준으로, 카이로 교통 지옥은 오후 1:30부터 시작해 (인간들아, 일 쫌 더 해랏~) 오후 3:30 까지가 정점이고 (오후 5-6시 반까지는 꽤 한가하고, 이프타 시작후인 7-8시까지는 심하게 한가함. 카이로 어디든 초고속 주파할 수 있음 ㅋ ;;;)  Iftar (대략 저녁 7시) 이전 3시간 전부터 평소 운동도 잘 하지 않던 뚱땡이 아저씨들 & 몸좋은 옵빠들 운동 정말 열씨미들 하드군요 (운동하고 얼마나 쳐묵쳐묵 ~ 우적우적~ 하실라고들...)

그래서 뚱땡이 아저씨들 & 근육질 옵빠들과 함께 ;;; 저도 거의 매일 짐의 트레이드밀에서 다가오는 이프타를 기다리고,

다른 몇몇 분들과 수영장에 디비져서 이프타 석양 & 모스크 소리와 함께 도시의  TOTAL PEACE & SILENCE 를 즐기고,

완전히 어두어지면, 전 Qatar today, Al Emarat 같은 거 보며 생중계되는 이프타 모스크 예배를 감상합니다.

하튼 뭔가 쫌 성스러븐 기분이 드는 올해의 라마단…
