오락가락 AMEX platinum AU offers - 5k or 20k each AU / up to 20k or 80k

최근 amex chat & 메일로 AU card 발급 offer가 나가고 있는 것 같습니다.

24시간 님의 이 글에서 처음 소개가 되었는데요.

저의 경우chat을 통해 처음 들은 offer는, platinum 카드에 연회비가 있는 platinum AU카드를 추가할 때 각 카드 마다 20k, 총 4명까지 80k를 받는 오퍼였습니다. (각 AU당 $2000 spending).

T&C:

If you add an Additional Platinum Card today, you are eligible for a special offer. To help you decide, let me give you some important information about the offer. You can earn 20,000 Membership Rewards® points for each of the first four additional cards that you add to your account during this chat after they spend $2,000 or more on their respective Additional Card in 6 months. The 6 month period for an additional Card Member to spend $2,000 starts on the date they are added. Your spending will not count toward the $2,000 spend requirement. The maximum bonus you can earn through this offer is 80,000 in Membership Rewards points.

이 오퍼는 어떤 분들은 연회비가 없는 골드 카드를 추가해도 받는다고 chat을 통해 confirm 받으셨다고 합니다.

이 오퍼와는 별도로 최근 며칠 사이에 저에게 amex에서 또 다른 offer 메일 2개를 보냈는데요, 메일 제목은 아래와 같습니다.

메일 제목 1 (3/31 수신): Sunchip (이름), you're about to miss out on 20,000 Membership Rewards® points. Add Card Members now.

메일 제목 2 (4/2 수신): Sunchip (이름), earn 20,000 points when you share several of the premium benefits.

내용은 대체로 똑같은데요, 자세히 보면 메일1과 2의 T&C가 다릅니다.

메일 1: 

Add one or more new Additional Card Members to your account through this email and you can earn 5,000 Membership Rewards ® points after each Additional Card Member spends $2000 or more in eligible purchases on their Card within their first 6 months of Card Membership starting from the date on which the Additional Card Member is added. The maximum you can earn as part of this offer is 20,000 Membership Rewards® Additional Cards can be added at different times but must be added by September 7th, 2021 to be eligible for this offer. Purchases made by other Additional Card Members on your Account will not count toward the $2000 purchase requirement. Purchases made by eligible Additional Card Members will not be combined to satisfy the $2000 purchase requirement. Your purchases as the Basic Card Member will not count toward the $2000 purchase requirement. In rare instances, the Additional Card Member’s period to spend $2000 may be shorter than 6 months if there is a delay in receiving their Card. Also, purchases may fall outside of the 6 month period in some cases, such as a delay in merchants submitting transactions to us or if the purchase date differs from the date they made the transaction. (For example, if they buy goods online, the purchase date may be the date the goods are shipped). The 20,000 Membership Rewards® points will be applied 8-12 weeks after the Threshold Amount is met.

즉, 메일 1과 2는 platinum/gold 카드 구분 없이 AU카드에 대해서 포인트를 준다는 것인데, T&C 상으로는 메일 1에서는 4장 X 5k 포인트, 메일 2에서는 1장만 만들어도 20k 포인트 (대신 1장이 끝)를 준다는 것입니다. 

아멕스 신입사원이 오퍼 텀을 제대로 잘 안고치고 메일을 두 차례나 보내는 것인지, 아니면 정말 두개가 다른 오퍼인지 잘 모르겠습니다.
