현재 아멕스 힐튼 카드 스펜딩으로 힐튼 계정에 포인트가 적립되는 시간은 해당 statement가 closing 할 때 인데요.

 

이제 해당 statement가 closing되고 12주 후에 포인트가 들어오는걸로 Term이 바뀐다고 이메일을 받았다고 합니다.

그리고 그 사이에 카드 해지시에는 아직 받지 못한 포인트는 몰수 된다고 합니다.....

 

서패스 카드 뿐만 아니라 힐튼 전체 카드에 똑같이 적용 되지 않을까 생각됩니다. (모든 아멕스 카드가 이렇게 바뀌면 안 될텐데....)

그리고 연회비가 부과되고 카드를 해지할 생각이라면 연회비 부과 되기 12주 전부터 해당 카드 스펜딩을 멈춰야 될 일이 생길지도 모르겠습니다.

 

*term만 바꾼건지 실제로 이렇게 철저하게 시행을 할지는 조금 더 두고봐야 할거 같습니다.

 

 

 

Amex Hilton Surpass Card Change of terms

 

I just got a change of terms letter from Amex about my Hilton Surpass card. It says that transfer of points which now happen at end of billing period will now be posted up to 12 weeks after the end of billing period.

It goes on to say that points may be forfeit if account is cancelled v at the time of fulfillment.

This doesn't seem like a minor change to me. I guess I'll have to sock drawer this card 3 months before I pay the annual fee if I don't want it for another year.
