"델타에서 미국내 여행 award 티켓에 관한 redeposit and reissue fee를 없앴네요. 그리고 전에는 출발 72시간 전에만 바꾸거나 취소할 수 있었는데, 그것도 없어졌고요.물론 베이직 이코노미 티켓은 제외입니다."

 

Effective immediately, Delta is making the following permanent changes for travel within the U.S. (including Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands):

• Eliminating the $150 redeposit fee to cancel an award ticket and the $150 reissue fee to change an award ticket for all SkyMiles Members. This covers travel on all tickets, excluding Basic Economy fares.
• Allowing changes and cancelations on award tickets before departure for all SkyMiles Members, excluding Basic Economy fares. No longer will changes and cancelations made within 72 hours of departure result in the loss of miles on domestic award tickets.

Additionally, Delta is making the following changes: 

• Diamond and Platinum Medallion Members who selected Upgrade Certificates, Delta Sky Club Memberships, Delta Sky Club Guest Passes, or Delta Travel Vouchers or gave Medallion Status through Delta’s exclusive Choice Benefits for the 2020 Medallion Year will get to select new Choice Benefits starting on Feb. 1, 2021 (the start of the 2021 Medallion Year) or as they earn Medallion Status (like they normally would).
• Delta SkyMiles Gold Card Members who earn a $100 Delta flight credit will have the expiration date for that credit extended to Dec. 31, 2021.
• Delta SkyMiles Platinum and Reserve Card Members with unused Companion Certificates will receive an additional extension to book and travel using the Companion Certificate by Dec. 31, 2021.
• Delta SkyMiles Reserve Card Members with unused Delta Sky Club guest passes will have expiration dates for those passes extended to Dec. 31, 2021.

또 하나의 좋은 소식이네요.

 

유나이티드 에 이어 델타 항공도 미국 국내선 티켓 변경시 수수료 면제를 시행한다고 합니다.

다만 Basic Economy 티켓은 제외라고 하네요.

Effective immediately, Delta is eliminating change fees for domestic itineraries:

• This is valid for travel within the United States, including Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands
• This applies to First Class, Premium Select, Comfort+, and Main Cabin tickets, but excludes Basic Economy tickets

델타에 이어 AA 항공도 바로 수수료 면제를 시행하네요

 

국내선외에 캐나다와 맥시코 캐러비언까지 포함 티켓 변경시 수수료 면제 (Basic Economy 티켓 제외) 와 티켓 가격이 더 낮아진 경우 차액을 바우쳐로 돌려준다고 합니다. 그리고 10/1부터 Standby travel fee도 면제한다고 하네요

 

AA waiving change fees on domestic tickets including Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean

• Waiving change fees immediately (excluding Basic Economy fares), like United, but extending the policy to include Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean as well.
• American will give a travel voucher to customers who apply their old ticket to buy one that’s less expensive. United will not
• Eliminating fees for standby travel, like United, but doing it starting October 1 – instead of waiting until January 1.

알라스카 항공도 티켓 변경시 수수료 면제를 시행하네요 (세이버 fare는 제외)

Alaska Airlines waiving change fees on all domestic & Internatinal tickets

Alaska Airlines is the latest airline to announce that change fees will be eliminated permanently (following United, American Airlines & Delta). Unfortunately saver fares will not be included in this new policy (although those are covered through December 31, 2020 as part of Alaska’s COVID measures).

 

Alaska Airlines is giving guests more peace of mind and effective immediately will eliminate change fees on all domestic and international tickets.

The new change-fee policy applies to all tickets, except for Saver fares. Previously, Alaska’s change fee of $125applied to all non-Saver travel, except for guests traveling on refundable tickets and Mileage Plan top elite status members.
